    As the prophecy foretold.

There is no such thing as boredom, only boring people. There is always something to do.

I just took six small dogs through the drive-thru at McDonald's so I could get them a special snack for the long trip home.

Even after they finished off splitting their 20-piece box they still tried to beg me out of my sandwich..

And then one of the older ones flipped the fries on the floor knowing full well I'm not going to lay claim to them again.

I may never do anything totally productive on my weekends off, but I'm never bored. 😊

And one of them still has a french fry stuck in her fur. 🙄

    Here's the other four

  • [Deleted User]DeadGirlWalking (deleted user)

@KYtranspant best road trip buddies ever!

  • [Deleted User]Gabriel2k (deleted user)

How do you do it?! Driving my 2 dogs around is a nightmare lol.

  • [Deleted User]KYtransplant (deleted user)

@Gabriel2k four of them are between 12 and 15 years old. One of them is 10, and the youngest is going on 3.

Once the initial squabbling stops everybody settles in and sleeps.

I've always traveled with my dogs if I can.

My dog sitter wigged out on me back in the fall. I ended up having to take all six dogs, plus one horse camping. It was supposed to be just me and the horse. I had my hands full that weekend.

And besides, they are small dogs, if you can keep leashes untangled and everybody headed in the same direction it's not that bad.

This is a relatively short trip. We will all be home in a few hours.

  • @KYtranspant Does the horse sit in the front or the back? Is it buckled in? Do you have any tricks for getting hoof marks off the widows?

  • @KYtranspant loving the pics! 🐶 🐕

@ldunford03 you might find this review of Texas Roadhouse pretty cool! (I feel that this is the 1st restaurant (& chain at that) to master every single item offering on their menu 😋 (I agree & stamp this review)

I think my favourite part of this is the typo- it makes it 100 times funnier. I just imagine widows covered in muddy hoof-prints from ponies trying to sit on their laps like small dogs 🤣

  • @ldunford03 , forum rules forbid the posting of pointless threads. Since it seems that others have decided to play with this I’ll let it stand but please do not do this again. Thank you.

  • @BuggleBear I searched long and hard for the typo, but didn't find it. Is it possible that I was this funny on purpose? 🤔😁😁

  • @babichev Ahhh! I can see it now! I agree with @BuggleBear .

My obsessive tendencies make me want to fix it, but I'm trying to learn to revel in disorder on occasion.

  • [Deleted User]DeadGirlWalking (deleted user)

I like to think you were this funny on purpose. It certainly gave me a good chuckle 😂

  • [Deleted User]KYtransplant (deleted user)

They have their buggy in the back @JoyfulHeart

  • @BuggleBear - boredom does not necessarily come from a lack of things to do, it’s a state of mind.

Since I will take any opportunity to post about my bunny, I’ll share this photo. She rarely sleeps on her side. We were taking a nap together the other day and I woke to find her completely sacked out.

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

  • I thought pointless threads were de rigueur on CC.

  • If not de rigueur, then at least verboten.

I am about to play league of legends

    @Idunford03

Between grad school homework and internships, covid hysteria, dictators taking over the world, life responsibilities, endless to-do lists, health struggles, ceaseless family problems, being single and living alone which means I am responsible for literally everything that needs doing, and a million other things too lengthy to mention… I can honestly say I can’t remember the last time I felt bored. It’s been at least six years. At least. Probably closer to somewhere between 11-17 years, really.

Enjoy having the luxury of time to be bored.

    Oh, and happy 2/22/22 y'all.

Reported, reviewed, and removed. @rosehndz - we do not allow contact information posted in profiles or forum posts. [-Sid]

  • Man. I saw the prohibition on meaningless posts. But I never would have thought an utterance like this one would fit that definition. It isn’t meaningless, to me. I hear the OP is bored. Boredom is a fairly common experience that many struggle with. Why report this?

Or worse, why insult the man? “If you’re bored, you’re boring”. Really? Maybe the OP is just too exhausted to entertain himself, atm. Keep fighting the good fight.

@MonkeyNeedsAHug there's nothing wrong with a thread about boredom. And there's nothing wrong with it starting with OP who is bored.

The prohibition is there to deal with the real rubbish that can get posted without such a rule, and the conversation that occurred before a mod got here proves that this thread is not one of those. However, a forum is about conversation, and the first post should stimulate that conversation: it should not consist of an 'utterance', but [ideally] a thoughtful writing that is constructed to provoke a response.

The OP is lucky. This thread was really started by @BuggleBear in the fourth post.
