For those of us who arenβt retired yet, or have the type of money where everyday is a Saturday lol π , what do you look forward to doing the most on your days off?
After literally of decades of focusing on my education and work (I went back to grad school mid-career) I have started making time for hobbies and self-care. Today there is a very blurry line between my hobbies and my self-care.
I always look forward to spend some free time with my young daughter; but I'm also excited about doing some 2-wheel fun stuff when the weather warms up (hopefully it'll happen one day here in WI π₯Ά).
I've usually always got something that needs doing. Maintaining my small acreage and all the critters.
I try to spread the work out during the week so I'm not overwhelmed trying to stuff everything into a weekend.
Especially because I have to make the night / day flip off my normal schedule.
Big things like getting hay I try o keep the rest of the day with little else to do other than regular chores.
And I groom my own dogs now since the pandemic started. Taught myself a lot of handy skille
I like how most of are homebodyβs π
@JohnR1972 sounds very well deserved π»
@the fact that the #1 thing you want to do is spend time with your daughter π ππΌ
