@cuddletime1234 Aesthetic attraction occurs when someone appreciates the appearance or beauty of another person disconnected from sexual or romantic attraction. Accurate photos are just as important to me as how someone completes the About Me section of their profile.
We all have different levels of comfort in putting ourselves out here. So, I always video chat or meet someone in person prior to scheduling a session to see if we are compatible partners, but also because aesthetic attraction is important to me as well.
As at least one person in this thread stated that there's a difference when paying to cuddle. I agree. When I paid I went by looks. That doesn't necessarily mean I enjoyed it. If there was no connection I didn't return. It had to be both looks and connection for me to return. Also when I paid to cuddle I looked for someone younger. I could find people my age to cuddle without paying so there was no sense in paying for it. The only way to cuddle with someone younger was to pay for it, so I had no choice.
zoom calls before the session help confirm folks are those in the pics.
@Sheena123 how can I be “blue” around you?? XO
@unclebuck aww dang!! Look at you all smooth! 🥲
Blue around U:
🤣🤣🤣
I always share recent, unfiltered pictures in messages when starting a conversation with an enthusiast or a pro.
I also don't think there is anything wrong with being muscular, it takes a lot of discipline and hard work, so it's something to be proud of.
To shame that is basically another form of body shaming. Humans come in different forms, and why should someone make others feel less because the muscular form doesn't match their ideal?
@SuperManCuddles I would love to say I cuddle everyone but I don’t. I cuddle people who are respectful to me and my schedule. I have improved upon my filtering process to eliminate disrespectful messages. If everyone who messaged me was respectful, then I definitely would cuddle them, though.
@quixotic_life YESSSS! Energy of another human being is sooo important! In my personal life, I tend to focus on intellectual conversations rather than aesthetics. But I’m not downplaying any one’s looks by any means.
I’m always eating so this is pretty accurate 🤷🏻♂️
Your experience sounds more of a grey area and it's hard to know cause we didn't see both the pictures and how the person looked when you met. Though as long as the person was using their own photos and it wasn't drastically different, like say using a photo from about a decade or so ago I think it's fine. Cause sometimes people don't really have access to photos within this month or so that look really nice. Especially the full body ones that get taken of them in nicer environments. Also some women may take photos of themselves with make up on cause it makes them feel better about how they look in something that's practically always there. Though they might not always wear it in person. Just like how some get dressed up to special occasions. So I wouldn't judge someone based off of how they look from just a few meetings even if that's for like a month or two. Essentially nobody is always out there looking or dolled up like a 9. Though again, it's hard to know your exact experience/perspective not having seen it myself and regardless you're free to feel how you do. Which may or may not have differed from how I'd feel.
Speaking of which, different photo angles can also make someone look attractive or not so. Like you could have something like:
Their photo angle may be unattractive to you, though when they show up they look better and vice versa. Although, photos and real life are some worlds apart anyway.
Or worse, they could be catfishing. Which is why I don't really care much about people's pictures and I prefer to video call and especially see them in person. That's the best way to see others and you can see them fully, their body language, expressions, hear their tone of voice, etc.
Walking in my door with food will make you look extremely attractive.
@Morpheus what you eating there? Mini donut cookie? I'm trying to cut down on my sugar intake, though looks tempting.
that is a girl scout cookie. I forget the name but it's the one with coconut.
@MCcuddles2 Somoas, I ate the whole box today 😭😢
brah, thinmints is where it's at.
The mob has reached critical mass.
Carry on.
Unpopular opinion from a Canadian here: our thin mints from girl guide cookies are so much better!! Ours have actual pockets of mint cream in them 🤤🤤🤤
@Sheena123 ~ I'll take four... (boxes)!! 😉
@quixotic_life it’ll be one of the best cookies you’ve ever had if you love mint. I promise you!! Lol I buy like, 10 boxes or so before I come down to Florida for 6 months lol 😆
Oh my goodness 😊
@Sheena123 were you in Girl Guides when you were younger? I was Boy Scout in Ohio back in the day.👍
Mmmm just seeing the pic makes my cravings for it go up lol thanks @OhioMike 😆😆 and no, I wasn’t a girl guide but it looked like fun
@Sheena123 I'm going to try to order those online 💛
@OhioMike hell yea!
I look different in every setting . My morning face is different from my afternoon face and my afternoon face is different from my evening face.My face looks different in all lighting. Depending on my diet, activity, negative energy intake , sleep my face will respond accordingly. My video and picture faces are different too. I look different in every mirror I look into. I look different in video chat. My face and body are both ever-changing just like my moods , personality, perspective and food cravings. I'd hope that my visage is estheticly pleasing to whomever it happens upon but that's just as much of a coin flip as anything else . Sometimes I'm not even totally sure what I look like.I'll catch myself looking in the mirror and ask myself who is that? Is that me? Am I sure? Alright well whatever lets get on with the day I've got dishes to avoid washing lol. You like you like it you don't you don't . ....on the back end I sill hope you like what you see.
I am often told I look better in person or more attractive than my pictures. I’ve literally been told my makeup looked tacky in photos but more palatable in person 🤣🤷♀️ People who know me personally ALWAYS tell me I look more attractive without make up. I simply enjoy playing with makeup and putting on my “war paint,” as k affectionately call it. I’ve never arrived to a session without make up but that is simply because I love wearing it.
My pictures are all recent some taken within a month or less - I don’t feel I’m photogenic but definitely present my better photos. My weight can fluctuate up and down pretty regularly by about 5 lbs. No one has ever voiced any complaints or observations about it.
My experiences are leading me to believe a couple of things are at play when it comes to picking a paid cuddler or paid companion based on appearance - attraction obviously, and secondly transference. I mean to say some clients have told me they identify with my “life style” pics or that I look like a friend or someone they know or respect. Some level of familiarity by way of resemblance. With regard to attraction, if it’s attraction based on positive energy, aligned interests, ect, I love that. If it’s attraction with non platonic intent I’m %100 not interested and abundantly express this within my screening process to ensure I am not waiting anyones time, energy or money as I value their’s and hope mine will be valued in return.
Everything about the karma resonates as well. I have ruled out prospective clients based on communication with another paid cuddler I trust and respect who explained that initial sessions were great but at some point said client pushed boundaries.
Just my thoughts.
Personally speaking, I think I am unattractive in pics and in person. It’s a good thing I’m charming 😂
I once met a person whose profile picture had hearts over her head, but when I met her the hearts weren't there.
