If you say everyone then should it be everyone

[Deleted User]timmy1059 (deleted user)

I see several ,pro cuddlers in particular say they would cuddle with everyone but approach it like a dating service and only accept what they view is the most handsome. Which I don't have a problem with but barring attitude or being overly persistent on a guy's part which I don't blame for being ignored or blocked but other than that and perhaps distance issues shouldn't everyone mean exactly that, everyone ? What's everyone's take ?

In a perfect world yes but that's not how it works here. They're their own bosses with their own rules.

Age, height, race, appeal can often play a factor if someone replies to you or not, let alone agree to share their energy with you. It's not professional but it's not changing anytime soon.

Nothing wrong with expressing yourself tho. :3

@timmy1059 How exactly do you know on what they are basing their criteria? And by the way, there is no "rule" that says professionals have to accept "everyone." The contract on this site says "You are accepting of all races, ages, genders, and sexual orientations." That means that the cuddler is not a prejudiced bigot. It does NOT say that a professional is forced to accept every client that wants to book services.

"Our members directly approach you through our website and it's your choice who you accept with no pressure from us. This means you can slowly build your clientele with only those you feel most comfortable with." https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/become-a-professional-cuddler

Every professional is free to accept or reject any client they choose to, as stated very clearly on the linked page. You have no idea why you might be rejected, as they are also under no obligation to tell you.

Thank you BlueIris now let me find some sand so I can stick my head in it lol. Seriously appreciate It

  • @timmy1059 No worries. A lot of people are under the misimpression that pros have to accept everyone that wants to book with them. Not even a lawyer is required to take every case that's offered to him in private practice.

    Lol very true

LOL. I have encountered quite a few men who list themselves as “straight” but say the cuddle with everyone. Well, then they must be cuddling each other, because I don’t think any of them meet with gay men. I don’t blame straight men for being wary of gay guys, but just what”everyone” are they thinking about?

Just to clarify something, 'Everyone' is not intended to be taken in the literal sense. It is describing that you are happy to cuddle with both male and female, not each and every individual. Maybe I should change the wording.

@Mark The two lines that seem to be the most commonly misread, misunderstood and misinterpreted are these:

"You can be affectionate to anyone.
You are accepting of all races, ages, genders, and sexual orientations."

The word "everyone" appears exactly nowhere. Even though there is other language which specifically states that professionals are not required to accept every person who requests a booking, as I explained in my post above, it is being overlooked. I will repeat that language here, for emphasis:

    "Direct Communication
Our members directly approach you through our website and it's your choice who you accept with no pressure from us. This means you can slowly build your clientele with only those you feel most comfortable with." https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/become-a-professional-cuddler

Just yesterday, not long after I posted above, I received a private message asking this exact same question, and that person was under the exact same wrong impression: that pros are required to accept everyone.

I think the phrase "are accepting of" is the root of the misunderstanding. It is being interpreted as "must accept as a client" rather than "You do not discriminate against any race, gender or sexual orientation."

Perhaps not only the wording should be changed, but the language explicitly stating that pros are NOT required to accept anyone who requests a booking might be put directly under the two problem sentences quoted above in order to reduce misunderstandings.

Men who make frustrated posts like the OP seem to be under the impression that because it is a paid service, it's exactly like ordering a hamburger or a haircut, and every pro MUST provide it to whoever requests it. I think the language referred to above is feeding into that frustration.

I thought most of the confusion is from the profile itself and how it says 'Everyone'. The page you're referencing is only intended for Professionals and it's worded with that in mind. I guess some clients will read it though which isn't ideal.

That aside, I agree it is common for people to come here and just assume that like a typical business, a Pro will accept whoever walks through the door. In reality this is no ordinary job and that expectation doesn't apply.

The forum pages , are full , of , " I never got a response " , or " I got blocked when I requested a session from a pro", " we didn't even message back and forth". Etc.
Sure , this is no ordinary job , but there is no reason why ordinary job " incentives" can't be used , to encourage some of the paid cuddlers, to just at least take a closer look at a clients proposal, for a cuddle session .
One incentive I'm thinking of is a variable commission rate . Right now , no matter how many cuddles a PC books , there is a constant 15% cut to the site . "The more you make the less they take" could be
used , as reward , bonus , etc , for achieving a certain amount of cuddling activity.
There might be at least a response , to a client who has no photo , or profile info. The response from the PC could be" tell me about yourself"

  • people are allowed to be as selective as they wish on here without worry for the egos of those who may feel rejected

  • I find it funny that people don't remember that even in traditional business they can be refused service for any number of reasons. "We reserve the right to refuse service..." signs are still pretty common place. Hell even government offices can ask you to leave or deny service if you are being disruptive or otherwise creating an unsafe environment.

While yes I won't discriminate against you because of your race, gender or age doesn't mean that I won't deny you service if you do things like ask for services outside of what is platonic or come off as a potentially sketchy client.

  • @GeekCuddles I completely agree, you have every right to see who you wish. Its not your fault if somebody gets upset its your body, time, and energy

I'm still very new to all of this but I don't see why this is such an issue. Cuddling is a very personal and intimate thing and it's not going to go well if there is incompatibility on either side. Sure it can be frustrating for the client to be rejected by the service provider but they have every right to do so, just like the client has every right not to contact every service provider in their area.

It's not like calling a plumber, its more special than that!

  • [Deleted User]RScarf1 (deleted user)

On other websites, the cuddlers normally accept whoever pays and sometimes they don't even see a photo of the customer before meeting the customer. However, I understand that they want the right to decline a customer if they have the ability to do so within the rules of whatever website they work for.

  • [Deleted User]chococuddles (deleted user)

WOW! I'm bulky and bold but no way would I meet someone without seeing a photo if I were a pro. Even for a non-pro cuddle buddy.

Pros are businesswomen and businessmen. As a businessman myself I've said no more then I've said yes. True I've lost out on some money but I felt justified and protected my brand. Pros have their own style and brand as well. @Brandi offers a different experience than @GeekCuddles.

    Protect that brand! :3
