@cuddles_ndream it is true that it was rare to get glass sodas here and easier to get them in Dominican Republic. I believe that glass is easier to recycle and we are slowly catching up on being more environmentally friendly. :-D

Coca Cola tastes better than Pepsi to me. But I voted hot chocolate. Cane juice is also good and I like fresh fruit juices in general.
@sunnysideup I really like coca-cola more too! Hot chocolate is awesome yum! Seems like a lot of people like fruity drinks/sodas. I have not drank a sugarcane juice as of yet and thank you again for participating @sunnysideup! :-D

I can’t say this is a favorite but I just tried this dandelion and burdock root soda tonight. Found it at the international grocery. It’s good. Kind of medicinal tasting, smells a bit like root beer.

@CuddleBarista1 I might add another category to your list which is mineral water. Mineral water is sparking water I guess but there's lots of different kinds. Out here in California and I'd suppose other places, mineral water has become a big thing for more health conscious people. There's a surprisingly large amount of different brands, all with a subtle unique taste and mineral profile.

I had almost forgotten about it, but when I was in Japan in 1968 (R&R from Vietnam), I tried some banana flavored soda that was delicious. I've never seen it since then.
I have never seen or heard of a banana flavor soda, but definitely banana-flavored milk.
