Not specifically a men's post. The latest chapter in my life could be entitled, Daniel gets out of his own way.
The last 2 weeks, I've been trying to interrupt the patterns that keep my mental, going-in-circles. One of the things I do, that I notice causes me discomfort, is trying to figure out the motives of others, when I'm feeling hurt about how something turned out. I'm trying to balance that fault-finding desire with the realization that I gain nothing from the effort. Someone told me, don't stay mad or upset for more than 5 or 10 minutes. It's a hard practice to put into practice.
Are there any little reminders you use during the day, to keep your own path moving forward?
