So good for the lungs, lower back, and peace of mind.
But hard on the knees. We got out of bed this morning joints creaking and snapping. 😑
After breakfast I asked if he felt like saddling up for a bit. We only went out for about an hour, but it was glorious.
Hoping for good weather again next time we get together.
Yeah. Well, when it's spring, your knees get sprung. grin

@Gallowglass I sprung an knee for sure. My horse was not as cooperative as I stood her next to something to climb on. My days of swinging right into the saddle are behind me.

@Maverick07 Bring your saddle and come down! I've got hours of trails behind me I haven't even explored yet. Stopped and talked to my neighbor and he said they're starting up weekend rides as well right off the farm. They've lived here for years and know the area.
@quixotic_life I'm just sad I had to go to work tonight. But we're making regular plans for this. Next time if it's not raining at night we're lighting up a bonfire in the fire pit

@CuddleDuncan I have helmets. I'm bad about remembering them if I go out on just a short ride.
But as far as the frilly horse accessories, my horses and I are far from it. I stand out like a giant dirt clod amongst proper English riders.
