I never look at who has viewed me. Someone could be looking at my profile a dozen times a day and I would not notice.
I sometimes revisit the same profile several times because I don’t remember why it was that I never messaged. As in I’ll do a search of cuddlers in my area, I’ll notice someone and for some reason go to check their profile, then realize I’ve been there before and it’s not filled out or there’s something else that reminds me oh, right, pass on this. Doesn’t need to be anything bad about them, just not a good fit for some reason.
You could, on one of them fan-type sites.
But there are thousands of reasons it could be, no reason to try and speculate why... Best you can do, as you said, is message them and ask, "thanks for viewing my profile, was there anything you liked it didn't like" (if you're looking for feedback, which you mentioned
My biggest culprit of page views is accidental clicks while scrolling. The big thing you don't see when someone views your page is how long they viewed it, right. So most of my accidental clicks, I hit back before the page even finishes loading or just as it loads, but I'll still register as a page view. So even though you may think someone may be staring at your picture for an hour, they could have not even loaded it. Even then, time may not always be true either, as another one that happened to me, I'm at salon waiting for hair cut, looking for potential cuddler, click someones profile, then my name is called, put phone in pocket...so I'm still up on a profile, but didn't get to look at it yet, after hair cut I close browser, then later while looking again, I have to re-go to that profile to actually look at it.
Or I can't remember if they said 'only see vaccinated' or 'don't see me if vaccinated', and have to revisit to refresh memory And imho, pro profiles I feel like are living documents, changing with their schedule, especially those that travel, so I'd have to go multiple times to see if schedule changed or what not.
Anyways, just some anecdotes. Pretty sure most of time it's innocent. Or you just have a great profile others like to see/read.
@UKGuy well I don’t think I would have that many messages that I would not be able to handle them I always message everyone that messages me. I think if I was in enthusiast I might have too many message. Even when I was on a dating site I always messaged everyone back. I’m not expecting everybody to leave messages that visit my side because that would be a lot. I’m just talking about the people that visit over and over again. But I think I found out a lot of reasons why, sometimes people change their profile they look again I’ve probably done that too. There’s other reasons but I can’t think of them all right now.
Sometimes the highlight of my day is someone visiting my profile, which says something about how my days have been going.
@KozyKim: I don't change my profile a lot, nor do I have any public images of my own face, but repeat visitors are a thing for me, too. Some people view my profile almost daily! I don't know why, either.
I choose to take it as a compliment: I'm like a celebrity or something. People dropping by every day just to look at me from a distance. Nice.
Hi @KozyKim - my thoughts/suggestions: Don't let it bother you when you have visitors/repeat visitors. Take it as a compliment that they want to visit your profile. Imagine the opposite. As others have suggested, there are a multitude of reasons why. One of my top complaints of this site, on the search/thumbnail views, it doesn't display the State alongside the city, so I don't know how far a person is from me until I know the state. Many cities are in multiple states (ie: Fayetteville). 14 states have a Fayetteville. How would I know which one without visiting the profile? Sometimes, I'll forget which state a person is in, so I'll revisit to remind myself which state. Without this knowledge, I don't know if they're 10 miles, 100, or 1,000 miles away. That's just one reason for a visit/revisit. As others have suggested, some people are shy. They may enjoy visiting your profile (words, photos), but may not yet be convinced to reach out to you. Or maybe you're on the border of being too far and they're not yet convinced. Or they simply enjoy looking at your profile or reading about you. As @peachinthecity does, you may simply reach out to a few of those 'regulars' and ask them if they would like more info or have questions, that you noticed them visiting, etc. I like her approach, and others do similars. Also, there is a subtle hint/message on this site/FAQ/etc, that suggests to not bother Pros with 'casual talk', so I could see how some may not want to bother a Pro with simple talk/introduction/hey - nice profile. Myself, I'll occasionally send a message anyway -- even if they are 4,000 miles away, I may be inclined to give them a compliment. Again, there are many reasons. If it bothers you, don't let it. It's a compliment. Let them enjoy your profile. Feel free to reach out to them and for those who are shy, this could open-up the door for communication with them. Hope this helps.

Ultimately, I think the biggest thing here is to do the work to become unflapped by why people view you. Ultimately on public sites, we can’t control what perception someone has of us, or choose what they do with our images or why. What we can control is the image or information we put out there. So if you’ve done your due work there, you will be just fine.
More often than not I just treat profile views as someone browsing, the same way they would a shop. It’d be weird if I got offended at each person who has chosen not to buy anything from my shop, or approached someone just looking at an item and saying “pay up”. 😄

This is not a real serious post is pretty much just joking around. I was just saying wouldn’t it be nice if I could make like five bucks every time someone viewed me after three times. I’m not talking about first time viewers. I’m really just joking people. I honestly imagine they’re people that can’t afford cuddling or they’re not close by enough, or they forgot they already visited me. I do appreciate those people and when I do ask them you know if they have any questions they just say they like my pictures so that’s OK Do you know the saying if I could have a dollar for every time… that’s pretty much what I’m saying🤣
I get a fair amount of visitors to my profile. Which isn't all that odd, given my posting history.
What I find strange, however, is how one particular visitor stops by on an almost daily basis—as if they're on a stakeout.
I'm not bothered by it, mind you. It just strikes me as weird, and mildly pathetic.
@HogboblinZwei I had that. Sometimes they would send a message that was just one period/dot. Blocked it, cause it got tedious.
I receive a lot of visitors because I have a picture of a genital. You heard right. Just a genital because I don’t do group pictures.
You can tell it’s a male airplane if you look closely.

@KozyKim Oh hey, I definitely was not allergic to the jokingness of this post, lol. I was more speaking in general. A lot of people do have a problem with profile viewers, and I mean I did at one point too. Then realized there is one thing that stays exactly the same in that scenario, and is always present: I'm on the damn internet.
