Never get any response

[Deleted User]jblove2cuddle (deleted user)

I have contacted several cudlers, some of them pros. But have yet to receive a reply to my cudle request.
This despite having something written about myself on my profile. And when making cudle request been very polite. Getting ready pretty soon to delete my profile as this don't seem to be working for me! :'(

I would suggest to add something of your essence. This means do not make it look like an essay paper rather some thing that could be of interest to other people that want to know are you.

Add a little bit of colors to your expression. No need to be overly serious about it just have fun and honest

Also what is it that you were asking these people? How do you write to them.

  • Reply rates from randomly selected professionals can be disappointingly poor.

Attributes which are positively correlated with getting a reply include:

    Karma, lots of
Last login, less than about a week
    Profile text, long
    Profile overall, professional
    Age, higher
    Time on the site, long

Do not use the booking interface until you have agreed a time.

Your first message should be brief, polite, written in correct English, friendly, open and specifically explain why you are contacting them. You must read the whole of the professional's profile first.

Two examples of my message for cuddling time:
    To a "non pro":
"Would like to meet for cudling. Plutanic cudling can have theraputic affects. I am a sensitive, caring person & would like to give some caring cudling for you, if you like to receive. Look forward hearing from you."

    To a "Pro":
"Would like to meet for an hour cuddling time. Please let me know if this time works for you."

  • @jblove2cuddle your communication seems too impersonal and also most enthusiasts receive a lot of messages so yours would get lost as too generic in my opinion. Women enthusiast tend to respond more to a message if the person is trying to initiate a conversation and saying hello first, showing interest in parts of their profile and basing the conversation on that.
So if you’re straight jumping to the cuddle part which is kind of like your message sounds like then you’re very unlikely to get a response.
All that being said even with the best written message your chances of a response are low because the number of male members vastly outnumber the women, on top of that many of the messages are inappropriate so most women get overwhelmed and scared that guys are not gonna be platonic when they meet so they just quit the site. Or they may start a conversation with one or two prospective cuddlers and ignore all the rest.

So if you thought you could send a message, get a response and get to cuddling then you’re mistaken.
I’ve had conversations going for a while with enthusiasts in the past and they led to nothing because in the end women choose who they cuddle with and that’s the end of the story so if you send a message and don’t get a response don’t take it personally, just move on and realize that is just the nature of the site.

Good luck and hope you find someone!

  • @jblove2cuddle there is nothing actually wrong with your messages, but conventional wisdom is that in messages to enthusiast women, you should not discuss cuddling in the first instance. You should seek to establish some kind of relationship first.

In messages to professionals, do not go straight to trying to book a time. Tell them just a very little about yourself. Who are you, and why are you looking to cuddle. (Are you just an ordinary slightly lonely guy, or are you a rape survivor who hasn't touched another human for eight years? A signficant minority of cuddle clients have significant issues around touch.) Also, show that the professional that you have read and understood their profile text (assuming they have one). Again, you are looking to establish some kind of relationship.

Cuddling (with professionals) can be strictly transactional, but in such cases the risk of it also being unsatisfactory in some way is noticeably increased.

Finally, never send a message with spelling mistakes or typos to anybody. Poor writing is positively correlated with problem accounts, and you are trying to avoid that association.

I thank those who have given input on this.
In the past I had joined dating sites and was very sucesful in meeting people for dates. And within a week or so after joining. So it seemed reasonable that in joining this site for simple plutonic cuddling I would have similar sucess as to how long before the first meeting.
    Aperantly I was wrong.
Again, thank you all for responding to this but obviously this site is not working for me. :/
Hence I plan on deleting my account.

  • This isn't a dating site, and although there are superficial similarities it is very different as you have discovered. You need to learn how to use it. There is plenty of advice scattered around the forums.

The site, and the wider cuddling world, rewards effort, thoughtfulness, respect, self-awareness and patience.
