So, I never discredit someone with no picture, info etc. usually once they message me, they open up to tell me about themselves and send a picture, without me even asking. I have found that many don’t want to disclose anything about themselves due to job, family or friends finding out they were here. I completely get that. I do require a person to send a picture if we are going to meet and I've never had an issue with it. 🙂
I don't see any reason that they shouldn't be allowed, they're either people who are brand new or people who don't care enough to fill their profiles in.
The people who are new will presumably sort their profiles out given time, and the ones who don't care will most likely get out of their time on the site what they put into it. It's maybe not a net gain for the site to have people that lazy around but if they aren't hurting anyone then not sure what the point of not allowing it would be.
Requiring content in profiles might also cause a different issue, where new people being required to fill their profiles in before having a look around for example might choose to just not use the site if they really wanted to explore it first. And similarly, people who would otherwise be lazy and not fill their profiles in at all even after being here a while might just put in any old random thing to fulfil the requirement without being particularly sincere or meaningful with their efforts.
@zundar yes. Which is exactly the reason that I wrote the very last paragraph in my post. Please everybody read the full post before commenting. Once again what I’m saying is if somebody just wants to pop on the site and they don’t want to fill out anything but they want full access to all of the functions THAT’S TOTALLY FINE! I’m not opposed to that.
The only point that I keep on making here is that if someone puts zero skin in the game their profile should be invisible so no one wastes their time clicking on a profile that has no photo and no description and no fields filled out. And then once they decide to dip their toe in the water they have the ability to be visible. Not really sure why people are not getting this. This is an open discussion board and I am by no means trying to be rude to anyone I just wish people would read the whole post. Just trying to create a win-win situation that works for everybody
I’m a newb here (hii) As far as blank profiles go I’m unbothered but then so long as the info is provided at some early point in our correspondence. I mean I think it’s safe to say everyone is taking safety measures and adequately going through the steps to identify potential cuddlers before actually meeting right ??!

Please @WestsideMarc read the full thread before commenting on comments. Sometimes people are commenting on the title, the OP's post, another person's comment, etc. Unless they quote you, it helps to read the posts just prior to gain more context.
That said... Yes it does make sense that those without anything in the body of their profile should maybe not show up in a search, but I can see the case for them being there too. Not all of us live in areas overflowing with potential cuddle buddies.
Perhaps they could consider it as another filter option?? Or they could put a [●] dot on those with content in their profiles and an [○] empty circle on those that don't?? Cause yeah. It is kind of annoying to sifting through having to go back and forth for nothingness.
I keep blank pro files.
I keep them in order alphabetically. For example:
The “Best pro” file comes before “ the “F&@*#ing worst pro” file.
So whenever I need a new pro file the blank ones are there to start a new file.
Tonight I got a message from someone who didn't have a picture posted and when I asked for one he sends me one of himself wearing a mask. Nope. Bye.
For professionals the profile matters, to a greater or lesser extent, based on the potential client.
For enthusiasts I don’t think it matters much at all.
Women’s profiles will still be swamped with private messages, and men’s profiles will still receive very few private messages.
But, if it is a hobby or compulsion, have a great time.
I see it as an exciting blank canvas of endless.possibilities! Like a mystery box of delightful surprise . Will they be everything you hoped for and more , or will they be a 3 headed,9 foot tall space alien who dissolves your brain with their mind . The joy of interweb meetup!

After sending a message to a guy on CC we went through a week of setting up a time to SKYPE. How about this time today? No how about this time tomorrow instead, etc. Today I finally got on SKYPE with the guy. His page had a picture of his profile and he was wearing dark sunglasses. I thought that his face from the front wasn't a fit from what I saw in the picture so I asked him to show me his profile. He takes the camera and doesn't show me directly, more like kind of to the back so I could not get a good look at his profile. When I asked again to show me he still wouldn't do it. So I ended the call. He messages "idiot" then I blocked him on SKYPE and CC.
@FectionKitty you poor thing, that's appalling behaviour. Report him. That kind of thing is not ok. If he isn't willing to show his face he should have told you that upfront. I'm sorry you have to encounter people like that.
