Cuddle Party in Austin? May 1st -18th

Hi! I'm a Cuddle Party (facilitator in training) and I've done Official Cuddle Parties in Philly and NYC. I'll be in Austin for work from 5/1 to 5/18 and wanted to see if anyone would be interested in one?

I'm staying in Downtown Austin. I'd have to call a few places up to find a good spot, but if anyone would be interested please let me know and I'll see if I can make it happen!

    There was one planned, but seems plans fell apart. May 1 is pretty short notice.

    @Saysoh I think you are confusing Cuddle Party events with the Austin Cuddle Retreat, which was a full weekend experience planned for August. That latter one was indeed cancelled.

    Official Cuddle Party events do happen regularly in Austin though, I myself try to host an event every month. There is another facilitator in town as well who also offers events, and we have several facilitators in nearby cities as well who offer their own regular events.

    Some version of cuddle retreat will still be happening, but the current plans are for significantly scaled down event which will be a one day, non-residential experience, mostly geared to those who are local to the area.

    For the avoidance of doubt, there are three things being discussed on the forum which are in danger of being mixed up.

    Firstly, Cuddle Party which I understand is a trademarked name for a particular corporation. These events involve things like touch-based activities, consent classes and cuddling.

    Secondly, cuddle party/workshop which is a more generic name for the kind of event mentioned above.

    And lastly, a cuddlers' party, which is an ordinary social event for people who cuddle. This does not involve any formal exercises or cuddling, and is essentially the same as any other social: you don't do deep sea diving at the deep sea divers' annual picnic. There is a cuddlers' party arranged for St Louis MO on 14 May.
