Your wonderful experiences.

Hiya everyone!

I’m new to the site and just getting situated. Concerns have been expressed from close friends and family (which I understand) but I’d love to show them that not all experiences are bad. There may be questionable experiences at times but most are comforting and relaxing.

So, if you’re willing, I’d love to hear of your memorable experiences through cuddle sessions. What did you enjoy most? How did it make you feel? What brought you here in the first place and what’s keeping you here now?

I can’t wait to hear from you all ☺️

The person is who is my best friend at the moment is somebody I met cuddling.

The person who helps me get to my early morning therapy group - and thereby prevented me being kicked out of the group - is somebody I met cuddling.

The person who came on holiday with me last year is somebody I met cuddling.

The person who I helped through three really quite diffficult personal experiences, when she had nobody else to help her, was somebody I met cuddling.

I could keep going but I think I've made my point.

PS - None of the above people are the one who helped me the most by cuddling me.

PPS - I've only had one 'bad' experience and it was trivial.

An analogy I've found useful in the past is to say to that cuddling strangers from the internet is perfectly safe. It's a bit like crossing a busy road. We all do it every day. As long as you look right, and left, and right again (reverse that in countries that drive on the wrong side) then you''ll be fine: but if you step out without looking you risk being run over.

Yes you're quite right, you do recognise him - it's Darth Vader.

  • I've had two cuddles after chatting with both quite a bit here. They were both good. I told them at the beginning that I wanted it to be platonic (I think it's important to reiterate that in person) and they never tried to cross a boundary. By the time you weed out the ones with tacky usernames, unkind faces (you can tell some things just by looking at a pic) and those that can't hold sustained conversation, It's not that hard to figure out who the good ones are. When in any doubt at all, don't let them engage you in the first place.

And do I tell my family about this? No h*ll no! I don't know if they would be able to go to sleep at night if they knew. And I am too private to tell them anyway.

An unexpected good side effect of cuddling is I don't get hungry while cuddling. I wish I could cuddle til I lose some weight. Preferably til I die.

  • I've seen over 75 clients, many of which are repeat clients, through this site and several others, and have only had approximately three no shows, and two bad experiences, which weren't terrible, just not good. I've connected with a lot of various kind and wonderful people, people who are isolated and lonely, people who are happy and extroverted, people who have disabilities and want to connect with someone non judgmental....honestly, this has been the most rewardimg thing I've ever done. 💜

  • Ive had a decent conversation or two on the website.

  • Welcome @KitsuneGrl

    To answer your questions:

-What did you enjoy most from your cuddle sessions? I enjoyed feeling like I was cared for.

-How did it make you feel? It made me feel like I was the only thing that mattered during that time.

-What brought you here in the 1st place? I was really broken & feeling down during that time… (when I actually joined that wasn’t the case so much), I remember googling something like ‘I need a hug’ or something to that effect & it brought me to a cuddling site, & I cuddled an amazing member who told me about this site, she told me this place was way much better in every single way (which turned out to be completely true) & I went & signed up .

What’s keeping you here now? The forum / threads / its such an escape … there’s awesome people here & i like to read & participate in different topics / see peoples’ different perspectives & point of views / post different things / engage in respectful debates if possible… all in all I feel like I’m part of a niche community.
