You seem to be suggesting that @HogboblinZwei is not being sincere. That's disappointing on so many levels.
@xelda Disappointing to who? You? Then you better start pulling several other posts from other people in this thread as well. Several people have taken the post as satire and sarcasm. It is what he is known for and he is quite good at it.

@HogboblinZwei is a master at what he does and THAT is exactly why we love him.... Whoever in this thread loves him.... I am not going to insinuate that you love him if you don't..... Please don't misunderstand me..... Ahem.... I think I will start again....
I absolutely ADORE @HogboblinZwei and his ability to speak something into existence that makes you question what is happening. If you have read a SINGLE other post from him, you will see that he rarely discusses things without a bit of tongue in cheek. His brilliant posts filled with humor and sarcasm are known by MANY.
And I mean really.... If we look around these topics or at society in general.... There are a LOT of funny things to find. Especially when people become toxic about the demands they are putting on others. We have seen it over and over and over in the forums throughout the years.
@FunCartel is one of the ORIGINAL ORIGINAL OG type cuddlers here and when you have a bit of sleep deprivation or are a night owl.... Its super fun to talk about things that are toxic for the community when someone really cares about the world of cuddling.
Maybe a fantastic thing for ALL OF US to do is to talk to @HogboblinZwei personally and find out what he was inferring. Or I suppose we could just keep guessing because that is kind of a fun game too. 😊

This thread was definitely up to interpretation, but I sense that people were faced with a choice of erring on the side of kindness vs. assuming it's satire. most people seem to have chosen to be kind.
@MCcuddles2 No assuming it was satire…I knew it was. If you read the initial post closely and have ever read real satire it is obvious. I think some people read the thread title and never fully read the original post. If you have to choose on erring to kindness then Is it really kindness? I think it is faux kindness and an abdication of thinking critically. Part of that is his point exactly as it was in response to recent threads where people posted threads that verge on emotional blackmail.
@HogboblinZwei does not always write satire and when he is not being satirical that is obvious as well. I can tell you he is smart as a whip and a very good writer and I enjoy his contributions and look forward to them.
@FunCartel Ah, but you know it's satire as your are familiar with the author, so it's not up to interpretation.
I don't imagine most of the respondees are.
@MCcuddles2 I think it was clearly obvious given his demands on the readers and the fact so many identified it as satire. Or has Western education declined that severely?
Could it not be interpreted as a serious post injected with humor to lighten the mood?

Does it really make so much of a difference as to what HogboblinZwei intended? Only he knows for sure. I don't get the power struggle over nothing.
