10 years ago was very good, my 2nd business venture was doing very well as I was being paid to travel our beautiful country. I got to see 35 of our states and cover over 380K miles. And a few trips my loving wife of over 30 yrs went with me. Now as I live a single life and after a 5 week stay in a hospital and thinking I was not going to make It out and having 2 out of body experiences, yes they are real !!!! I feel so blessed and have learned to not get stressed out about things, I try to make the best out of everyday. I let my feelings show more, give way more hugs and hand shakes and let people know how I feel. I see the true color of the blue sky and the green in the grass. I’m so glad I found this site and learned how much cuddling can put a person at ease. I have met some great people here.
I am much more compassionate and understanding of other people's thoughts and opinions.
Used to be 37. Now I'm 47
@pmvines. A good property and mathematician. Good qualities.
Hmm, auto correct from pooper to property doesn't work the same.
@Btown I was wondering what your message meant. I thought it was making sense and just going over my head. LOL.
@waynewv i embraced spiritualism after learning about Nde’s & seeing soo many peoples story around 10 years ago … I wonder if you crossed over the light / spoke with guides / family members or if you just made it outside your physical self & came into the realization… I would love for you to share, or I would love to pm with you, but If you rather not share such an intimate experience I understand 💯% and I feel you’re soo lucky.
@GoodRightHook I'm pulling for ya. Keep digging! Yes that one spoke to me like no other.
I’m older and wider now, lol.
@pmvines Your posts are a good example of Brevity is the Soul of Wit
My eyes weren’t -6 and -8 ten years ago!
I used to believe in love but now I know men are not capable of it
I figure I'm the same personality wise but I'm MUCH less anxious than I was back then. Been steadily forcing myself out of my comfort zone socially over the years and it's finally paying off. I still ain't no social butterfly though haha
Ten years ago I was trying out new things after finishing film school, my family was close-knit, we had a sweet female Boston Terrier that had no shortage of affection for me, any problems we had was no different from most other people’s problems, people were a little more cheery, our country was coming out of a prolonged deep recession, worldwide we were winning the war on terrorism after we knocked off Osama bin Laden, our only real problem worldwide at the time was North Korea. Plus we also had Sandy Hook at the end of the year. Today, I’m not as cheery as I was ten years ago. Both our dog and my Dad died untimely deaths, Mom is in the early stages of dementia, we have the Covid-19 pandemic, mass shootings are more commonplace, the world is on the brink of nuclear war/WWIII, Wall Street just had seven consecutive weeks of sell-offs and our small d democracy may not survive for long. Even my Mom can tell the difference. She said people in our community were so cheery, now people are very sad.
I am more relaxed. That is the beauty of the statute of limitations; it is like sin on 0% financing.
@Rachelsnuggles If that's literally true, it's a loss for the entire human race. I'm sorry for the experiences that you've had that stole away your hope for love.
10 years ago I was in a struggling marriage and a let people walk all over me, especially my bosses at work.
Today... single, strong and don't put up with peoples BS lol. Also self employed and no chance will I let somebody walk all over me. Take me as i am or hit the bricks. 😆
