  • No. And I love mashed potatoes. Lol.

  • @achetocuddle but you’re allowed to have tacos 🌮 but only on taco Tuesday …. & even than it has to have mashed potatoes in it, will you do it than? (And yes its only mashed potatoes In the tacos nothing else)

  • No, but maybe Mangu con salami would help. :)

  • @CuddleBarista1 i would literally do that now, I will actually volunteer 😅😂

  • Oh yeah, I could do that easily for unlimited cuddles!!

  • @SunsetSnuggles no salt 🧂 butter 🧈 or sour cream just litterally the potato boiled or baked & mashed?

    @cuddles_ndream Oh pleeeaaasssee. Easy Peasy.

Did that at the beginning of the pandemic after a very traumatic break up. Working as an essential employee, not wanting to live but kept going for the sake of my critters.

I did not have the energy or the appetite for anything but basic simple survival stuff.

  • @cuddles_ndream You can't keep changing the rules as if this is your game! 🤭

    😐

    Oh. Hmph. 😜

  • @KYtransplant @SunsetSnuggles apparently I made this too easy!! 😅🤣😂

  • What @SunsetSnuggles said. Lol.

@cuddles_ndream No! Not even if I get to have a taco shell for my mashed potatoes on Tuesday :)

@cuddles_ndream there is not much that I could not give up for a period of time to achieve a goal I set.

Live with no running water for 2 yrs to save up for my house build? ✅️

No TV or Cable for going on 8 yrs? ✅️

    No home internet? ✅️

Stayed in a poor relationship to keep a business from failing? ✅️

There's more. I just don't want to depress anyone.

I have aways bucked down and done sometimes the unheard of or unthinkable to meet my obligations and goals.

  • @KYtransplant I put everything I owned into storage and moved into my SUV for two years, to escape a toxic familial relationship. Cheers to peeps who do whatever it takes to achieve our goals!

    @SunsetSnuggles ❤️ we are survivors.

I think it might be detrimental to your health to live on potato alone. If they were magic potatoes with all the nutrients one needs for a healthy body but still tasted only of potato, I’d be totally on board.
Edit: turns out you can subsist perfectly well on nothing but potatoes, barring a slight vitamin deficiency.

  • @Travismo Man cannot live on potato alone...but I'm a girl! 😁

  • @KYtransplant It's not news to me that you are much tougher than me. I did without home internet for years and pay TV for 7 years to help recoup financially from divorce. And did a lot of staying at home and not spending money. I still don't have a smartphone. I've got a flip phone with a prepaid plan. I don't like to be on the phone, so that is no sacrifice at all. It was totally worth it. I'm curious as to what you did to make your water supply potable for those 2 years. You have got grit galore :)

@cuddles_ndream may not have expected the thread to take such a serious turn, Lol, but he won't mind.

Showered at work, and brought it home in totes.

In the warmer months I had a 250 gallon tote iin the bed of my truck. I could fill up at the local water station for about about a dollar.

Many people still rely on water truck deliveries around me or they tote thier own home or collect rain water.

Cisterns are still in use as some have never hooked up to the utilities. Too much clay and caves for good wells.

I'm living fancy now with running city water and everything.

I am not tougher then anyone else. I just have a horrible fear of failing. It's probably how I managed to survive.

@achetocuddle this is the tote system for water and how I could shower in the warmer months as I worked towards my goal.

  • I was familiar with cisterns and water wells where you lowered the bucket and hauled it back up, but did not know about water trucks. So interesting. And so glad you got to take showers at work @KYtransplant! If you write your autobio, I will buy it :) Thanks for the interesting pic.

🤗 @achetocuddle Ive had some friends and family beg me to write more widely over the years. I write on my own extremely limited social media and just for them.

To me its just my life and 99% of the time I can have a pretty good funny/ positive / unique outlook on it.

  • @KYtransplant All your life experiences remind of Sue Akins from Life below zero! Quite impressive and strong woman of character you are!

  • @blisscuddles i absolutely love life below zero / I love filthy riches / I love the last Alaskans / I love the deadliest catch ect … nice to know I’m not the only one into these shows here lol

  • I may or may not already do this meal plan… 😆

    Way to go, Idaho!

  • @valkyrievixen lol 😂 😂 …. I’m craving mashed potatos now 😋 😂

  • [Deleted User]BamaCuddleKat (deleted user)

Mmmmm I love me some potatoes. We talkin like, being able to add stuff daily? Bbq sauce or ranch or cheese etc? Or plain?

  • @BamaCuddleKat the only thing you’re able to add on top of the mashed potatos is more mashed potatos

  • Unless its Tuesday & you can have taco Tuesday which is a taco shell with mashed potatos in it

  • When I was young I enjoyed the occasional mashed potato sandwich on white bread. Y'all are probably too young to remember the Dagwood comic strip where Dagwood was always brown-bagging mashed potato sandwiches to save money for the kids' college fund. Lol.
