Keeping Your Profile Fresh

I just realized I haven’t updated my profile in quite a while, so I gave it a quick look and freshened it up a bit with some tighter language, some better descriptions of what a session with me is like, and some updated movie & TV choices (Ozark! Top Gun Maverick!). I don’t think I’ve changed as a cuddler, but I know I’ve learned more about myself and relating to other cuddlers, so hopefully my profile continues to evolve to reflect that.

How often do you look at your own profile and update it?

    I'm still quite new, so I find myself tweaking my profile about once every week or two.

    I find creating and updating profiles to be quite challenging. I sincerely believe that to know me is to love me, but how can I let people know me in a profile? That's the question. I often feel like no number of the "right" sort of photos and words (whatever they are) can do justice to who I really am. I have tried to project my best self with my profile, but I still don't know if it is a hit with visitors. Sometimes when I am not getting any requests for professional cuddling, I wonder if I'm not "selling" myself effectively; then again, I've tried a variety of photos and text, and I usually don't see any difference in my profile's effect on people. All I can do is try my best and hope people see who I am.

    I'm apparently quite challenged in preparing an appealing profile. Not sure why, but I have only had 1 positive response. Perhaps one, or several more experienced folks could have a look and give me some pointers on how to spruce it up? Any help would be appreciated.

    I definitely need to add more photos to mine. I am realizing how few photos I actually have. I probably need to put the PlayStation controller down and actually get outside more 😅

    Putting more than minimal effort into displaying my persona seems vain and icky. Besides, I'm just here for the pros, and my behavior with them, and the resultant karma, shall be my calling card.

    @UCpaaHVg6u0 Most Pro Karma is geared toward getting the client to book again, thus I see it as likely to be biased. Enthusiast Karma means much more, to me, personally.

    Put more effort into your correspondence with others when you DM. I think that carries more weight. I take all profiles with a grain of salt as who is going to really be so transparent as to say “I can be the little spoon but be forewarned that I have erratic IBS issues and advanced notice is at a minimum”. Your correspondence is more reflective of you, especially when answering questions from others.

    Now I do make sure the visuals on my profile are authentic as I would never want anyone to be mislead by my appearance on the photos.

    @UCpaaHVg6u0 Nah, people who have IBS can’t help it. My point is profiles are polished and spun like a homemade PR firm. I don’t trust them except for one I once saw that only said “I’m confused.” I can identify with that on the daily.

    @UCpaaHVg6u0 Not qualifying anyone, just sharing a personal view after reading a lot of Karma, here. Karma is nice to see, but how people conduct themselves on the message board and how they communicate is very meaningful.

    @SunsetSnuggles Social media is an entrapment for me. I raise dust with my contrarian positions. More than a couple people have blocked me here for my words, but nobody has complained about how I behaved as a cuddler.

    Francis the flamingo is now cut into 2 due to having been knocked down by the wind one too many times. Now behold Jactus cack !! Not nearly as fashionable as Francis but give jactus cack time and he will find his image

    @nurturingman I completely feel you. I am always tweaking my profile, but I made some larger changes and finally updated my pictures after being here for four years. Haven't seen any changes in inquiries yet. The pandemic really threw a kink in my momentum. 😔 Most of my clients love me for my authenticity and realness, but I don't know how to convince people of that in a profile. No matter what you say, most professional profiles come off very similarly. 🤷‍♀️

    @HRichard if you messaged me, I would find your profile very encouraging. If you're messaging enthusiasts, it's incredibly difficult for most all people to get responses there. Unfortunately. 😔

    @pmvines When I arrived in Arizona, particularly near Phoenix, the saguaros covered the hillsides to greet me but they sort of appeared to be saying this: "🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕..."

    @UCpaaHVg6u0 yeah I'm slightly disappointed that mine isnt more correct in form, considering that it is outside my front door and faces the part of my yard where everybody takes their dog to poop

    I love when I change my main profile picture and my previous clients message me something nice about it. It’s nice to know that I’m being noticed by people that care about me and enjoy my company. 🥰
