@Nature_Lover_ Love animals and feel their warmth sometimes are as good as if not eclipses human contact...besides the human companionship side. Like the love and the contact and the warmth and the endorphins!
@KozyKim. Animals growl, bite, scratch, make expressions, and run away. Best believe they give some kind of non-verbal communication. Esp. cats - they're unforgiving and callous (and I love them lol).

Would like to also add... that can also apply to male children as well as pets so not really missing out on cuddling with another human of the same gender since I have cuddled with my son.
I can't speak for other men but I have trust issues with another men who are my age or older. Pretty much my dad is the only exception cause he's not the source of the trauma. But I've have issues with other men in the past usually in public restrooms or other male only changing areas. There was also a couple incidents at sleep overs.
I can cuddle with my son because I know it's never going to be sexual for either of us but I don't trust other men to keep things totally platonic. The most I can handle is a quick hug but if it lingers too long it can start to get triggering.
