@Sideon Yes. I can relate
@btown I like that 😌
@munkg Yes, all the superficial stuff is pretty meaningless and I feel those who rely on it are shallow.
@Bryan123 Oh, I adored Bagel Bites!!
~ Sunset Snuggles
This is not something that should be joked about especially after what has recently happened. Please refrain from posting content like this again. [reurbo]
The humor of a meme suggesting that it's good for people to use the bodies of others without consent... hmm, it kinda escapes me.
Any memes about how wonderful it is that people in need of a lung can now demand one from unwilling "donors"? That seems about as amusing. More so, actually, since that really is just a joke.
@DaringSprinter I saw it before it was deleted and I must say it made me smile. (Even though I am displeased by the recent decision in the US.)
I didn't really see it as a joke about abortion: that was just the topic carrying the joke. The joke itself was one of the seven types of jokes (or is it five ... or is that plots), whereby a completely normal thing is transposed into an impossible situation and thereby creates a humerous effect.
@WiseGent if you want to post something edgy again, do it in the Dark Humour thread, and with a warning. You can use the spoiler tag (from the paragraph option) to hide it. This is the forum convention for stuff which might be upsetting to some folks. And that image was too upsetting for somebody to come upon without warning.
@CuddleDuncan: Yeah, being reminded that there are now people in my country with fewer rights to their bodies than a corpse has... it ruined the "fetuses with cellphones" humor for me.
@DaringSprinter yes ... I do see.
