Favorite Christmas Movie(s) for cuddling.

I have an old friend who moved away longer ag than I like to think, coming to visit family in the area, but she will spend Friday night with me. I’ll have a fire in the fireplace, some wine and snacks but I think watching a good old Christmas movie or two will help to keep things on the platonic side. Does anybody have a favorite Christmas movie or two to cuddle by?
Feel free to throw in your favorite Christmas music album while you’re at it.

    @waywardchikd80 in the same vein, but not. Most who name transSiberian Orchestra and Manheinpm Steamroller would also go for Pentatonix, the a cappella (PTX) group from Texas.

    Duh! I don’t care for shooter-up cop and killer movies, so I never saw Die Hard . I had no ideas it had a Christmas connection.

    Nothing Christmasy about it at all but every year the BBC used to play The Great Escape on Boxing day (the 26th) so I always associate in with this time of year. Not sure if its good for cuddling but with the right person, who knows?

    @BlueIris. I had dinner with friends Monday, and neither of them could believe I’d never seen A Christmas Story. They both went home and found it on the current TV schedules and texted me. So I just finished watching it a few minutes ago. I got the biggest hoot out of the Santa Claus set up in the department store with the elves pushing and pulling the kids and shoving them down the slide!

    @Greybeard I hardly know which is my favorite scene! There are so many great ones!! I loved it when Ralphie lost it and beat the tar out of Farkus! And the father's reaction every time he had to fix the furnace. Priceless!!

    I just watched the movie Arthur Christmas for the first time and enjoyed it. The grumpy grandpa is easily my favorite with Arthur being a close second. I like how the elves were different than how most Christmas movies portray them ^^

    @clumsycuddler arthur christmas is underated, i liked it too. I'm also pretty fond of the muppet christmas carol. And you can't go wrong with Elf.

    @jbo729 I've never seen the muppet Christmas carol but I like Elf. It's pretty funny. I also like Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and The Santa Clause movies.

    I know I won't get any agreeance on this, but for me, The Matrix is good for any occasion though like I said earlier that for Christmas movies my "go to" first 2 choices would be Die Hard and White Christmas ^_^
