Just for avoiding going off-topic :)

The red flag thread was a fascinating read; I mean that in the best way. But it did need to be stopped. Thanks to the ones that helped. I am relieved that no one seems to think I am any kind of stalker.

@InvestorLogic Regarding the red flag thread, where was that pretty pic you posted taken?

  • I never understood how visiting one's profile(no matter how often)= stalking. They can't learn anything about you that you didn't voluntarily share. It doesn't make any sense.

I know! I think I looked at it twice like I normally would with anyone. And yes, I am old, Lol, and can't remember everything from looking just once.

I hope this is just some good explanation, especially for the people I PM with. If not, I will know next time. I usually learn the first time :)

  • @laidbackron - I only made a comment saying that no I don't pay a deposit to a Barber or most other professions then I was immediately attacked like I was some ignorant person who should know that men pays deposits for everything else.

Some professional require deposits, some don't. We all know this. And we also know requiring deposits isn't a red flag. Its something to be concerned of if you don't know the professional, but you're not in danger.

Sid was here. Requiring deposits IS a red flag if they are new Pros, with no or very little karma. Clients have every right to refuse and not engage. Deposits are up to the Pro, and clients always have the option to say yes or no.

  • @laidbackron - I agree, but that wasn't the point of the argument. I even said a few times that pros have the right to require what they want, but that expecting all men to be okay with it because they pay a deposit to get a hair cut is silly.

  • He was warned. Twice. He did not listen.

I'm all out of patience with his nonsense.

Thank you for taking out the trash. I saw that name as a commenter and immediately knew they were back to their old antics. Some people just can't participate in threads without being aggressive and hostile.

  • @Sideon Thank you😌

  • Thank YOU all for flagging. All ya'all are the front line defense for offenders. I tend to think trash eventually takes themselves out. I just help them close the door behind them.

  • @Sideon Thank you.

  • He should have lived up to his user name. That is not how a laid back person behaves.

  • I do have a temper, so it was hard not to go on a rant at her for saying such malicious things, but I contained it.

  • @achetocuddle - we mods are not on 24/7. We rely on the community's vigilance.

Let's put the topic of timed out or banned persons to rest, though. I'm not a fan of litigating folks here. I'm not a fan of reopening issues and divisions. Even though no one is tagged, I'm not a fan of discussing issues between people who have a gag order, either.

    Thanks.

  • You got it.
