What does your username mean?

Hi, I'm new here and I immediately got struck by the creativity shown in creating usernames.

Now I'd like to know ...

  • why you have chosen this name?
  • what does it mean?
  • what were your first thoughts while thinking of a name you can chose?
  • how important is the username to you as a person/pro?
  • what role does the username play in choosing a pro or finding someone to cuddle?
  • anything else that you can think of in terms of your username?

I'm curious and happy to hear/read the stories of your usernames!

    With the idea of showing where I’m from and where I am now, I created peachinthecity. I’m a GA native (the peach state) and living in NYC is a whole new chapter in my life. I feel it’s a way to tie both in, peach meets apple.

    Also, I was thinking of sex and the city at the time so I wanted something similar to it.

    I don’t think it changes anything about my ability to cuddle. But I do enjoy being called Peach :) Kinda like Princess Peach from Mario.

    Mine is a reference to a song from the Heathers musical.

    Doesn't mean much, I was just listening to the soundtrack when I changed my username from something cutesy and sweet. (Guess I wasn't feeling very cutesy and sweet that day)

    Also reflects my ongoing struggle with DPDR and how I don't feel real most of the time.

    Sometimes i feel less than confident in vulnerable situations. I also believe myself to be a loner by choice majority of times. Then i came to the site because i was lonely and lacking something i was hoping to find thus @BashfulLoner was born.

    I'm Dave, and I'm British. That's it 😂

    Simple I know, but at least people don't have to guess where I'm based. Plus I'd rather not use my typical username here for reasons.

    The short answer is it's a combination of two of my favorite things. Milkshakes and Spider-Man.

    For a slight bit more context. I've used various forms of the name Milkshake for different websites and custom videogame characters. One game in particular, the plot asked for a mighty warrior to aid them in battle. Something about their last hope being named Milkshake was extremely funny to me at the time. Eventually this one community that means alot to me gave me the nickname Shake so the name's gained more sentimental value to me as life has gone on.

    As for the digits. 49 is the lucky number of the Miles Morales Spider-Man. Part of me liked the idea of having a reference in my name too that no one would catch onto lol

    For mine NQIG is an acronym that stands for Not Quite Incompetent Gamers, which was our gamer “clan” name back in the 90s for my group of friends. I’ve found that it’s unique enough that I can use it on all platforms without it being taken so it’s followed me forever.

    I did my 1st name followed by WV, for West Virginia my home state and I’m proud of it.
    Been in Florida for over 30 years but WV will always be home. I do go back several times a year to ride the mountain roads on my motorcycle.

    I really like this post. I chose Raveheart because I'm big into the rave and EDM lifestyle, and I like the play on words. I've been into the rave scene for the past 7 years now and I love the fun and the freedom of it. Some of the most enjoyable moments of my life have been spent dancing from late pm to early am under lights, music, and untethered kinetic energy.

    I could nap and sleep all day if I could, especially with company, I'm extremely happy when sleeping and waking up next to someone.

    Plus sleepy matches my deposition, seldom blue usually super quiet, low peaceful energy. I just want to chill, lay down relax and meditate.

    The reason why I've chosen the name cuddlebarista1 is because I used to be a barista back in 2016-2018 at Starbucks in Times sq. The number 1 represents the number one and only one cuddle barista at cc. That cuddlers are also treated like number one as well. I did not see any names with cuddle barista and thought why not? I used to work in many different jobs in the past and out if all jobs, I thought that being barista had taught me one of the best customer service skills, communication, body language, etc. A lot of discipline is required being a barista and I took those skills moving around many different jobs. I thought cuddle barista was a fun, cute, bubbly name and I was like.. who doesn't like coffee and cuddle with a barista? :)

    I just... um... well, I like pudding.

    Actually, I was playing an online game a few years ago that autogenerated usernames for you if you didn't set one. It created this, and it amused me so much I've opted to keep it going.

    My brother shared this with me a while back, and I thought it was not only hilarious but that it would also be a good gamertag. So now I use it on xbox and other places occasionally.

    I don't even really follow football, I'm more of a Flyers fan unfortunately...
