It does have something to do with assaults/attacks on women, else what are men being 'falsely accused' of...?
And no, @zerocantaloupe, it doesn't insinuate that at all.
It suggests that there is no interest in women who don't offer sexual activity.
Maybe learn to read before you reach?
@DeadGirlWalking - I meant actual assault which is a big problem. Women fear having their bodies violated and men fear losing their job over an accusations. Two very different consequences.
@DeadGirlWalking How does “no men on this site are interested in platonic activity” differ from “all men here are pigs” ?
@DeadGirlWalking - That just grouped all men together and said that nobody here is interested in platonic only cuddles which couldn't be further from the truth.
I like cheese
I like crab legs... mmmm.
Back to topic, set firm boundaries and kick men in the balls if they misbehave. That's what they're there for.
Sounds like this thread is just poisoned and not much will come of continuing it. But look, this is an open forum for all genders and all people. It’s not supposed to be a safe space or echo chamber. If you want that, there are other forums you can choose where the opinion of men is absent. Sexual violence against women is something everyone has a stake in. So everyone is going to have an opinion and feel free to express that opinion. You’re not going to get everyone on the internet to see things the way you see them. You’re not always going to like the way a conversation changes topics. But you shouldn’t be telling people what they can say. And you shouldn’t be telling people what they should be concerned about. People get to make those choices for themselves. It’s better to agree to disagree or just stop conversing with people you don’t agree with. Ideally, you can do that before you both start throwing around insults. That doesn’t seem to have succeeded in this case. Anyway, I’m not going to continue it so good luck to y’all who do.
Maybe there should be a womens only forum..maybe that men can read but cant comment on. I'm sorry that my lack of filter contributed to poisoning this thread. hides in the corner
I find it sad to know that so many of my fellow men are refusing to stay within clearly defined boundaries and making the female pros and enthusiasts feel unsafe and in some cases leave cuddling all together.
Following my divorce cuddling with pros and going to a few cuddle parties was enlightening to me. I realized what I was missing was basic touch and human connection in the purest sense of the word… it wasn’t lack of sex that was leaving me feeling empty and disconnected. It was simply the a lack of basic human connection. I think here in the US we under value touch and for men it tends to be characterized as something that only happens in a romantic relationship and a as a lead in to sex. I think with that mindset so prevalent in society, many fail to see what they really need.
As far as boundary pushers… if it’s minor and seems accidental then maybe a warning is fair, but if you feel like your boundaries are being violated, I would say it’s also fair to end the session on that first instance. No one deserves a second chance to assault you if that’s what it feels like. I know I am extremely cautious about where my hands are when cuddling… at times almost to the point of being awkward. But I would rather be that and have my cuddle partner feel safe then accidentally overstep and offend. Please report offenders as it’s the only way we can keep this site focused on what it is supposed to be. To the women, there are a number of us men out there who appreciate what you do for us and will respect your boundaries. Please don’t abandon all hope.
This thread has been moved back to public area, as this was contributed to by all members of the community, of all genders and was originally posted there. Please keep things civil, or this thread will end up being locked.
@Brant76 Thank you for your thoughtful comments. Well said.
