Birthday Month Plans

I'm turning a multiple of 10 in October, and decided to give myself a celebration. I'm planning a trip to the Midwest, which includes cuddle plans with a couple of the wonderful people I got to meet in STL in May of this year.

From there, I'm going to Wisconsin, just because I've never been there. I'll cross lake Michigan on the high speed ferry, then visit my sister there in Michigan.

I'm grateful to this site, which has been helping me to learn to give gifts to myself. I'm also thankful for the friendships I've formed with some amazing people. My heart is joyful.

    If you get a chance, check out House on a Rock in Wisconsin. It's a weird pseudo museum which has antiques and a weird set of art and collectibles and themes and nice scenery. There's a life sized Moby Dick replica in there and an early 1900s style carnival for example.

    Happy birthday man! It's my birthday month as well. Like you, I am very grateful for this site.

    I found this place at a very low point in my life, and it's been good medicine to be held and hold space for others.

    There are quite a few caves to explore in WI if you are interested in that sort of thing. I think most stay open until the snow falls. Get yourself a Kringle, and some cheese curds. I have taken my boys to the Dells more than once and we always stop in Baraboo to get cow pies; they are like the chocolate covered turtle candies but are about the size of the palm of your hand. (I may be a bit of a foodie...) Hope your entire experience is absolutely phenomenal!!
