@OhioMike: Yeah, it's like looking up words while you're reading. Except instead of having two books open at once, you can have two tabs. On a computer, you can even display both side by side! Handy dandy.

Technology just keeps changing. I wouldn't be surprised if a few years gives us something that'll let people smell stuff over the internet. Sufficiently advanced technology, that's what it is.

@DaringSprinter technology really is something. I grew up in the free 3 television channel day, one single wall mounted rotary phone, newspapers, and shelf long encyclopedia books. Even my business hand wrote invoices on pre printed forms in early 90's. Amazing times now, and future will be something else! 👍

There are some really AWESOME HUMAN BEINGS on this site, and I, being in the middle of the continent, don't get to interact with most of them anywhere but here!! However, reading the posts on this site makes it possible for me to enjoy the humor, insight, and wisdom of people whom I WOULD NEVER HAVE HAD THE JOY OF MEETING, IRL. Sooooooooo grateful for the posters here!
Plus... I'm VERY visual... I click on the screen names of folks whose posted thoughts DEMAND that I re-think things!!! Very grateful for those!!!

@DaringSprinter I remember years and years ago seeing something about a device that produces scents while playing video games. I don’t know if it was ever actually made, but considering every rpg will have you going through a sewer at some point, I think I’d pass on that 😂

While reading the forums, I click on profiles when someone intrigues me with something they said, or the way they responded or replied … outside of this I click on profiles when I’m searching on who is local to me, or if I come across a picture on the main page (regardless where they’re from) which I happen gravitate to.
I look at profiles and I've noticed that more often than not lately, it results in someone messaging me like, "Hey, I saw that you checked out my profile!" 😂 I browse on my phone and the pics are tiny. Sometimes I end up getting curious about what the picture is, especially if it's an animal, meme, or something and boom! Caught red handed lol.
