Anything can be sexualized. It is up to both parties not to do it
I have had tons of female friends sit on my lap and even loop their arms around my neck, it was completely platonic. Now if it were a female that was interested in me or me her, then there would be more than just sitting and talking platonically. There would be flirting, teasing and other type of similar things. Like @pmvines said, anything can be sexualized it just depends on the parties.
