My mother used to tell me that I have ‘long, aristocratic toes’. Why they are held to be aristocratic, I haven’t a clue. True, my family is genetically aristocratic, even if we lost all our titles and land in the French Revolution, but that’s practically meaningless nowadays. And Yes, my toes are strangely long! Lol.

@Blackadder I could imagine a opera voice of a person that smokes. I love hearing opera music. Especially when it’s in person at a restaurant. I’m glad you took good care of your voice and by not smoking. You didn’t miss out on anything trust me. I never became a smoker but I tried it once and I said who in their right mind would have another one of these I’m inhaling smoke into my lungs. And it was so disgusting. I hope I didn’t offend any smokers.

My partner refuses to watch shows that are super popular. I had to beg him to watch Stranger Things with me and he was surprised by how much he enjoyed it when he finally caved. He doesn’t like following trends. That said, if you’re not opposed to watching popular shows in principle, GOT and Breaking Bad are both amazing, worthwhile shows. The writing is so good.
@cuddlezandhugz Lol, I don't like following trends either. I'm so over the top about it I nearly had to be dragged and kicking into the 21st century. On the other hand, if I realize it would please someone for me to do the trendy thing they enjoy with them, I get a lot out of that. It's just that I have to realize it first. Lol.

I collect pens. Mostly fountain pens, but I do have a few rollerballs and mechanical pencils in my collection too. I love changing ink regularly and writing my notes with differing colors.

It's not that I avoid popular shows on principle. It's that there is so much info/entertainment to consume these days so one thing that I kinda sorta do is avoid things that require an ongoing time commitment. If GOT had been a movie, I'd have been all over it. When there was just one Law & Order I was addicted. Now that there are so many I don't have the time and I've fallen away from it. Showing my age, but the last TV show that I loved and probably saw every episode multiple times was St. Elsewhere.

It's why I originally wanted a degree in forensics later on in life. Technically I minored in forensic science but my degree is ultimately in psychology.
I work for a private investigation law firm now last 7 years.

I own a collection of tacky leggings (I buy them off online thrift shop site for a few bucks). I have approximately 200 pairs and they make me happy. The more ugly they are, the more I like them. I wear leggings almost every day, under dresses or as pants.
I actually have two pairs of the ones in the photo (different colors).
