Have a good rest, @BashfulLoner! I should have some breakfast. Shame there's not a vegan place around. Though, come to think of it, even if there were it's not like it'd be open during the hours I'm awake. Alas!
"Maybe people aren't responding to the OP because they're not attracted to him."
Attracted in what way? Platonically?
"Platonic attraction? Never heard of it and I don't want to."
Ah, sexually then. No worries, OP!
"Yeah, don't take the 'no worries' thing to heart, OP...."
Thank you! Always enjoy readin your comments full of information and thought reaches to understand others. Also sharing good perspectives to bring the conversation to a center of understanding. @DaringSprinter
We do need better quick food options for various diets. But then again i think the choice to eat differently than most is really an escape from the McDonald’s style offerings, no matter what it is.
Lol, you guys are funny
Carnivore?
Oh definitely, more vegetarian leaning...but someone might want to know what the etiology of my vegetarianism is, so let’s just say I like organic foods.
Etiology? Explain please.
I mean i just choose to eat that way, I don’t think it has anything to do with any ology. And if it were easier to make vegan meals i liked to eat I’d probably be that myself.
@PrettyLuv: No worries! I only push to understand what people are saying, not why. And thanks for the compliment earlier! I like it when I can raise people's spirits.
@BashfulLoner: Fast food is simultaneously a boon and a curse. Tasty. Convenient. But so unhealthy! I'd be willing to bet most if not all fast food chains could make the healthiest diets unhealthy. Somehow.
@DaringSprinter @BashfulLoner I'm not vegan nor veggie , but a friend turned me on to a place here called Vegan Slut. Its actually pretty decent though over priced. It's in a rough area that is trying to become revitalized and is a case where the establishment isnt necessarily that popular with the local population, so I try to visit them from time to time to give them a little business . Not sure if they do breakfast though as I've only been there around lunch time
I agree with quiet man. Less is more when reaching out to enthusiasts. It shouldn't be more than a few sentences.
Also just expect not to get a reply
Thanks for the info. I will adapt accordingly.
So far only one Pro has ever ghosted me. But the rest has responded fairly quickly. I travel for work so I dont always have a week to wait for a dozen back and forths in order to maybe potentially possibly meet later.
But anyway ill ease off and hope I can meet people. I dont always go pros because im saving every cent I have in this crazy economy.
Have a great weekend everyone.
@CuddleWho - I respectfully have to disagree about your advice to not bother with enthusiasts.
I have had great cuddles with several enthusiasts I have met through this site. One of the biggest differences between pros and enthusiasts is the amount of communication before a cuddle. Pros tend to move quicker and the exact amount of message exchanges varies from one pro to another but generally speaking, it is a lot less time and fewer messages than when talking to an enthusiast.
Enthusiasts generally want to get to know you better to ensure a good compatibility and build up a higher degree of connection / trust before agreeing to meet you. It also helps immensely with enthusiasts if you have several good karma to help establish your legitimacy and be sure to share photos of yourself if you don’t have photos in your profile.
I have enjoyed all of my cuddles with pros and I have enjoyed all of my cuddles with enthusiasts. To me it is absolutely worth the effort to get to know enthusiasts - sometimes it might lead to a cuddle, sometimes it doesn’t m, and I am OK either way.
I'm a little late to this discussion, and I haven't read every post.
@wrench - In my opinion, a message can easily be too short, but it's be difficult to imagine a message being too long.
Perhaps, more important than the length of a message is the timing, which by the way will depend on if you are writing to a pro or to an enthusiast, introduce yourself (sufficiently), tell her why you want to cuddle, and then ask to schedule an appointment.
If you are writing to an enthusiast, go slow. In you're 1st message, introduce your self and ask if she would care to chat. DO NOT even mention cuddling. If she is receptive, chat for a while, then invite her to meet for coffee, lunch, or something similar. If that goes well, only then do you want to start talking about cuddling.
@PrettyLuv - I know for an absolute fact, that purely platonic attraction is possible.
There two women, who I shall not name, who are very active in the forum, and I am very attracted to both of them. Neither of them would ever be considered beautiful, and probably not even at all pretty, but yet, I am attracted to them. Neither of them are within 500 miles of me , so it is unlikely that I will ever meet either of them, but yet, I am attracted to them.
In both cases, it is neither their face, nor their body that I am attracted to. Rather, I am attracted to what's between their ears. I like their minds. Most certainly, it must be examples of platonic attraction.
@GreatHornedOwl I never made the distinction between the kinds of attraction that exists. That was someone else who needed details. I merely stated that it may be that the person he’s messaging is not attracted to him, albeit platonic or otherwise, and that it might be the reason for their lack of response since there’s really nothing else to go on. I don’t see anything wrong with his messages, and unlike your rapport with the girls you’ve developed an attraction to he hasn’t even gotten to that stage yet, so the only other assumption is that they visually were not attracted enough to respond (for whatever kind of attraction they seek to develop if it’s a driving factor for them).
In other words it’s not a question of what type of attraction it is, but whether one exists in the first place to warrant a response. Apparently not so in this case (again, hypothetically).
@prettylove - No, there is nothing wrong with your post at all. I think that I may have misunderstood you a bit.
BTW both of the women that I was talking about, if they know who I was referring to are both old enough to be having a chuckle about you calling them girls
@PrettyLuv excellent posts. It's hilarious and a little sad when some try to hijack a thread then try and gaslight a poster to push their own agenda, exorcise their own demons, or just to be petty. I'm VERY attracted to how you stayed the course 🙂
I didn't read any hijacking or gaslighting. I think @PrettyLuv's posts are good.
Lol @SammyG_ i love how you used the term there lol
@SammyG_ > "hijack a thread then try and gaslight a poster to push their own agenda, exorcise their own demons, or just to be petty."
This sounds more like gaslighting to me. Changing the author's intent to suit a narrative.
