I don’t see pros that often because I can’t afford to…but once a year I like to hire a pro on Advent Sunday (or around then) for an all day and overnight session. The pro I’ve been seeing for the past few years hasn’t gotten back yet, but she usually charges around $1,000 for this. I’m willing to negotiate though. What we do is spend the whole day together Sunday (usually, again I’m willing to do a few days after if nobody’s available Sunday) at my place. We meet Sunday morning, go out and buy a Christmas tree, bring it home, and decorate it. Then I make dinner for us both, and she stays the night and goes home Monday morning.
OR…
If Sunday-Monday doesn’t work, then there’s Saturday-Sunday. She comes over Saturday night (fairly late, right before bed) and stays the night. Then we wake up together, go to church, then get the tree and decorate. If we do this schedule, we would need to go to the grocery store too, and then cook dinner, eat, decorate, and finally cuddle until the end of the night. Then you could head home.
Either of the above schedules would be great if anyone has a day and a half free.
I know that particular weekend is busy for everyone, including me, so if that doesn’t work, we could do the same, but the following weekend…or possibly even during the week, but I’d need to request a day off work.
The pro I usually hire, as I said, charges $1,000 for this, but I’m willing to negotiate, like I said before. I’d also like to meet beforehand if we’ve never met before, or just do a FaceTime call. Please have good karma too.
