I don't follow sports really but when i was in my early 20s and hitchhiking around Europe , I ended up in Scotland during the World Cup and holy hell they were total savages over it !! I never have since enjoyed watching a sporting even so much in my life as I did there with them sharing in the intensity and excitement

Id like Messi to keep going but realistically he is going to be 39 in next world cup and he and Ronaldo are at that retirement age now so nah if he takes a break id applaud and respect him for that. Imo football players (soccer) after the age of 38 are not the same compared to their prime days.
@HumbleBaron thank you and I agree, I would like for him to retire and leave at the very top, I look at Brady & see how he had the chance to do so, but I applaud him in whatever he decides to do.
