Besides a blanket and water bottles what else should I bring for a public cuddle in the park ? Does it make sense to bring pillows ? Or would that look weird in the park ?
I guess it depends on the kind of park. Will you be sitting on a bench or on the open freezing cold 🥶 grass? Wait, you’re in Cali right? Maybe it’s not so cold there. If you were in NY you could bring anything you want.
Did you mean weird to park standards or weird to the person you’re cuddling with?
I think you could bring pillows if you know you’ll be lying down on open grass. If not, I’d either skip the pillows or bring just one to have something you both can lean on as you cuddle next to eachother.
Are you cuddling in the day or night?
Not to go crazy but I think cuddling at night in a makeshift tent with little portable Christmas tree type white lights up in the middle of the park sounds cute. Every now and then you guys could peak your head out and enjoy the stars above as your ceiling and fall asleep.
The high should be 74 degrees here And it's during the daytime cause our major parks close at sunset so we can't cuddle at night there. Though I wish we could but I think they close the park to prevent crimes or something. I meant weird for being at a park. Not for my cuddle partner. I would prefer cuddling on the grass to a hard park bench.
I have done a park cuddle session before. Here are some suggestions: 1) A bookbag. You can use your bookbag as a pillow to lie down and to carry around stuff. 2) A portable mini fan since it is hot degree weather. 3) bring along sandwiches, nuts, seeds, or other small snacks to eat and maybe feed some to birds and squirrels 4) frisbee,boardgames, badminton set, a ball, etc. 5) if there are huge rocks to lie down, I highly recommend it and it was surprisingly more comfortable than a park bench.
I love cuddling at the park, My goto list is *Beach blanket *Sunscreen *Hat-hair always gets messy cuddling *Food - to make it special *Hammock for two. *Good comfortable shoes for walking
Whenever I see these posts about public cuddling, especially in parks, I remember all the wonderful pics of members cuddling at the Mo Cuddles event earlier this year in St Louis. Lots of good pics of public cuddling in that thread! 🤗

I PERSONALLY don't feel weird about cuddling in an outdoor space EVER because in and of itself its not WEIRD for two people to snuggle outdoors. (You would probably not think TWICE about a blanket, picnic, and pillows if this was your spouse or Significant Other)
I am the type of cuddler that keeps pillows and blankets IN THE BONNETT of my VW Bug. Just in case....
So probably more than anything your advice requested comes back to communication with your cuddle buddy and if it feels weird to them. Maybe?

I bring a blanket to lay on, a double-wide pillow, a thermos of water, chapstick, my phone (on silent), and my keys. That's it. Preferably meet at a park in the late summer or fall, kick off my flip-flops, and snuggle down for an hour or two, looking at the trees above, enjoying the fresh air, and talking. 🌳🌬⏳️ It's delightful.
