I’m thinking about going to a local taqueria in Whittier and getting some of their amazing Al Pastor. What are you eating?
Sorry, I don't eat pork. I will have the carne asada. Do they deliver?
Chicken burritos with D&D crew
Home made hamburger with pickles and pepper jack cheese
I've been watching alot of kitchen nightmares so when I go taste food I'll be saying stuff like it's so dreadful. So bland.
Gonna make a Vegetable stirfry, with quinoa, corn, garbanzo beans, broccoli, carrots, red and green peppers, garlic, and some fruit on the side
Tasty, healthy, and animal suffering free<3
@calineur sadly no delivery especially up to San Jose. I remember going to a place up there that was famous for their orange sauce. I even brought some home, it was pretty amazing.
@Brandi are you vegan or vegetarian?
If you are vegetarian try some MAKOTOS ginger dressing on your stir fry
I went out for Sushi. For suggested Sushi joints, I emailed everyone in the Orlando area I had talked to and got no replies until I was in the middle of dinner. 3 people gave me different three suggestions, none of which I had chosen. My spot was okay, a little on the expensive side, and a little too Americanized for me.
Majority Vegan(have slipped a few times, but only for chocolate lol, still gotta perfect veganized brownies :x that will be a game changer lol. for stir fries though, I actually have a coconut butter, and love to use seasonings. A few of my favorites; garlic salt, thyme, parsley, chili powder, and cumin. :b
There is also a place called colonia Tacos near me, and they make these seriously amazing vegan buffalo cauliflower tacos, and holy guacamole, its fantastic, best taco Ive ever had lol. I mussst know how they make their buffalo sauce!
I’ve had cauliflower tacos at the Hollywood bowl and holy crap they were good
I hear that cauliflower is great with buffalo sauce
:O omiiiilordy, its like foodgasmic. lol. :P
I made bread with cauliflower then made grilled cheese, A-MAZING
@Brandi My association with the word vegan is Scott Pilgrim and the vegan police .
No doubt your super power is cuddling!
I made baked coconut curry chicken with roasted veggies & jasmine rice. Yummm!
Cool! @respectful My assosiation with the word vegan is Compassion, and Necessary. ^.^
What would happen if everyone in the world became vegan tomorrow?
We would all be a lot healthier, and there would be a lot of animals that would no longer be suffered, hopefully we could save the animals we mass produced, however it would take a while to shift in balance. Its not going to happen all at once, its going to be a slow but steady increase as the years continue. Im pretty sure of it. People are realizing that overconsumption is negatively impacting everyones health, and the planet. Even if people changed to Grass fed cows and organic chicken eggs and what not, we just dont have the resources to literally feed every amercan an animal for each meal of the day. Its pretty gnarly when you think about it.
not trying to be preachy vegan, but once you become aware of the issue, its hard to ignore, and not want to share with others who can make a huge impact.

With a few alterations; restaurant style rice instead of chips and beef instead of chicken.
@Brandi
Speaking as someone in the medical field, I am not opposed to vegetarian diets or even veganism, but I’ve seen it done extremely poorly—many times.
People need to be very careful to get their full, complete nutritional needs if they do not include animal products, and they should be doubly so for their children if they’re going to insist on their kids doing the same..

^ this is far from the only case where severe medical problems arose. So... if you do encourage others to change their lifestyles, please, make sure you keep them and yourself very well informed.
And as planned, polished off my al pastor and horchata. I also picked up some pan dulce (Mexican pastries) for later and I’m gonna make some canela (cinnamon tea) to wash it down :-)
Absolutely @Lorelei anyone on any diet can be very unhealthy, vegans can eat only chips and candy. however majority of meat eaters are not eating the correct amount of nutrients either. So i think its a tad amusing when people try to pull the old "well vegan isnt always healthy so why do it" well because it is the healthier way, provided its done correctly. I do understand the importance of being informed on exact details though and youre absolutely right, and Id hope anywho who is interested in taking a stand for animal rights, our planet that future family and friends will hope to enjoy and their health, that they do all that research for themselves. Im just here to bring light to the topic ^~^
I'm having kale mashpot tonight. With bacon so people won't think I'm a health nut.
@brandi most candy contains gelatin, which is made of bones.
Yes it does, quite disturbing. There is some candies that are vegan though without geletain. There are so many amazi g alternatives out there these days. :b
I’m a Omni-glutton. But I’ve enjoyed some healthy foods. I’m on vacation here in Orlando, and just driving around I’ve see restaurants that are aimed at the vegetarian and vegan market. More so than I see sround the Chicago suburbs. I’m going to try one for sure, but so far this trip I’ve been stuck in an Asian food pattern
Leftovers: duck breast with Sichuan peppercorns, sautéed onions, mushrooms and spinach. I'm sensitive to those who adhere to a vegan diet, but I haven't evolved enough to follow through.
Ham and bean stew, with tortilla bread and a smoothie.
@Greybeard not far from me. Lots of good places on I drive or in winter park. You might check out Boca on Park avem i hear it is really good
Chicken parmasean lasagna rolls with Texas toast , spinach salad and pumpkin pie for dessert
