I'm surprised CC doesn't have an affiliate program but if it did would that take away from any organic involvement with people joining? Wouldn't it increase their customer base and more funding
And therefore more money for the site to improve the community and even fulfill all those needs people asked about in those *how can we improve cc community type forums"

I could be wrong, but I don’t think the site wants to “market” itself … I think they rather be “found” by those seeking it, and at most - word of mouth. (I think this is for the best.)

I'm extremely confident that the site owners are very well aware of affiliate marketing, and if they felt it would be helpful to the marketing mix they would do it.

I suspect that the lack of control would be problematic. We have enough difficulties with people thinking this is a sexual site without idiot affiliates who haven't done their homework assuming it is and promoting it thus.

This is a great website, but I wish it could push "platonic" and "platonic relationships" more.
