As technology moves forward/ social media becomes the main presence in peoples lives & continues replacing actual socializing and interpersonal skills / i feel people are losing the ability to pick up on important cues/ flags / and just overall important give aways … It’s not a game guys !! There are people out there who mean absolutely no good. pay attention and don’t chance it, be careful.
I agree with @sunnysideup. I thought I was in the Twilight Zone until he posted. I vet well but also know I can't be sure who is a troll and who is not. I suspect @nycuddlerny is sincere, at least partially, and has been one of the unusually fortunate ones. It is possible to be a very competent vetter and have some good luck and have his experience. I doubt he is a troll and think he has had a somewhat sheltered life and had not learned the word troll before. If he is crazy like a fox and just yanking our chain, I can live with that. If he has me fooled, how am I really affected? I can always do like him and vet well and not engage him. At the least he caused the thread to be more interesting. I guess because I am an odd duck with atypical life experience it is easier for me to consider this. I don't know. I'm just glad that the posters in this thread seem to be genuine.

What does it mean if someone is trolling? Trolling is when someone post or comments online to deliberately upset others. In short: Trolling is when someone deliberately tries to upset others online. Trolling can lead to a pile on, when others join in the attack.
@nycuddlerny Lol, well I guess you are not sheltered. It is neat that you were not familiar with trolling. It sounds like you have traveled in some better and more beneficial social circles than I have. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders. You're refreshing.
