I like to watch foreign films/shows in their original language. And read the subtitles. I pretend I’m learning the language. Sometimes I rewatch with no subtitles and I realize I’ve learned maybe a couple of words.

@pmvines Wow! Bell's Palsy visited me as well, except that it's on the right side. Dates back to undergrad days. Unknown origin. Folks say they don't notice it much even when I'm talking, smiling, or laughing. But it's clearly noticeable if I do a broad smile for a still photo -- which is why most of my photos are fairly serious. An exception is one carefully composed photo, and I included it in my profile.

@stormydaycuddle same , or if I open my eyes really wide like I'm surprised one looks lazy . I woke up feeling fine and then went to brush my teeth and realised I couldn't feel my toothbrush on them on the one side lol . Worst part of the whole thing was not being able to close my left eye all the way for 6 mo

I attended a performing arts high school as a vocal music major. I envisioned it’d be like the show Fame with students singing and dancing all over the place. IT WASN’T ☹️ Yet, I enjoyed some of the great friendships made that I still have to this day.
Two of my sons and I share the birthday month of November. We’re each four days apart one son on 11/08, the next son on 11/12 and I’m on 11/16…Never have we ever been able to agree on the same flavor/type of cake 🤦🏽♀️
I've nearly drowned twice. Once because someone tried to drown me (that sucked) and once because I was an idiot, (that also sucked, I guess). Oddly enough, I still love water...although I do avoid its deeper parts.
