It is good to know there is help when your feeling down.

  • Personally not , no. I just want to say to anybody who is to please talk about it to someone . Anyone. Dont keep it inside and please get appropriate help . I've said it a hundred times and I'll keep saying that cuddling is amazing and sure it feels good , but it doesn't replace mental health counseling and / medications.

@pmvines your response was a good way for me to notice the posts provided. So I changed this one. Appreciate it.

  • Sometimes reading things 3-4 times helps it hit home.

  • I think im going to order that porchlight book

  • Every one becomes weary to some extent under a consistent amount of stress. But for some of us it can turn into a depressive episode. Depression is about the past and sometimes the sadness and longing for better times can be enough of a trigger. However it's also important to realize that depression is a liar and a fiend in the guise of love poisoned by pity and as a friend trying to keep you safe from that stress.

It's those times that we have to rely on our self care routines and most importantly talk. Talk to someone, anyone about anything.

Left to fester it becomes it's own self fulfilling prophecy. Fighting it, raging against it feeds it. Treat it in the only way we should regard it, as a warning that our system is overwhelmed and we need to be kind to ourselves, practice self care routines, seek joy and gratitude in the simple and basic beautiful things in life and, most importantly, reach out to someone. Don't isolate, seek anyone and just talk to them. Be as social as you can be and as vulnerable as you are able.

No one deserves to feel this way and no one asks for it, but more people than you may even realize struggle with it and are willing to be there for you, if even just to listen.

You matter. Your voice matters. The love you bring into the world matters.

  • @OnTheJourney that is where I am at with it. Making self love a routine. Habitually loving myself before I step out into this world is a must.

  • My bad for editing so much. But I figured if I said it correctly, eventually I could really understand. Thanks for the posts. That fog of self-doubt is going away.

  • Glad to hear 🤗. You're allowed to be foggy sometimes.

  • Lol. Gracious
