@SunsetSnuggles thank you for the thread. I generally let my profile and Karma speak for themselves, however it saddens me on a deep level every time I read or hear one of our fellow cuddlers is on the receiving end of a "boundary pusher". My big brother instincts kick in and I want to rush to comfort and support the victim, and pursue just punishment for the wrong doer.
@stormydaycuddle i think you are making the assumptions by trying to "dumb it down" for the rest of us. But, go ahead, I'm a highly paid engineer with 2 masters degrees. I don't need your explanations.
@jplemmon I wasn't dumbing it down. It's a complex science I was trying to simplify for people who didn't know which is totally understandable due to long term and short term memory. We can only hold so much information at any given point. So I'm not trying to judge people who haven't brushed up on their science lately. Only those who spout antiquated theories produced from the posterior region and those clearly defending it. Engineer or not if you understood what I said clearly why are you arguing? It's scientific fact. Biology may be the problem? They are two very separate degrees.

So as a general statement.
There is nothing wrong with simplifying facts. It's not a reflection of others intelligence what degrees they have vs. education in general. Be an engineer, a doctor, a writer, or a cuddler...you can and SHOULD TRY to learn something new every day. Add to that, I want to learn too, so I'm here for all the cool facts of life.
So why not relish THAT vs pompous responses about "XYZ...."
Stop squabbling and disengaging through insults if you're "intelligent." Then good for you.
Especially if you know the truth of the situation or a subject. What are you really proving?

When a particular trait in present, not only in most men, bot also in the the males of virtually every species of vertebrate animal shares the same trait, it is hard to believe that the trait in question is anything but genetic.
That genetic affect manifests itself in male behavior, but it often shapes the male body. When extreme anti-survival characteristics are present in the males of a species, but but not present in the females, there should be little question. When those anti-survival characteristics exist for the sole purpose of obtaining females to mate with, there should be no question at all.
I'll give you some examples. Most vertebrate species exhibit at least some degree of sexual dimorphism that is often anti-survival. In the majority of bird species, the male is brightly colored, whereas the female has rather drab coloration. The male's bright colors make him more subject to predation, and exist for the sole purpose of attracting females. An experiment was once conducted, where a number of male Red winged Blackbirds had their red feathers died black, and were then released. None of them were able to attract a mate.
Look at the Cervidae (deer) family, where only the males have antlers. Every year, numerous males die because of those antlers. They are gored, or otherwise injured in combat with those antlers. Their antlers become interlocked, and the die from starvation. Even neglecting the disparate effect of human hunting, every year, the male death rate is far greater than the female death rate. Antlers are clearly anti-survival. They evolved because the male with the largest antlers is also the male with the largest harem.
The bottom line is that humans males have evolved so that we mostly so that instinctively, not only do we not care where we are touched by the females, but we actually welcome the female touch. Fortunately, we have also evolved sufficient intellect, that we are able to suppress that instinct, but only if we choose to do so.

What makes humans different than other animals is insight, empathy , and ability to change. Nature vs nurture . Id vs ego vs superego. That's why I dont buy into the whole men are designed this way thing. Some of it does ring true , but we arent just simple primal animals . We are far more complex than a pattern of behaviors .

I would dispute your assertion that "humans different than other animals." Is is abundantly clear that many other species exhibit insight, empathy , and ability to change. In those regards, the difference between humans and other animals is one of degree, not of kind.
@FunCartel I was a Master of the Custodial Arts as part of a previous job, and I also have a Bachelors degree, in that the degree of which I am a bachelor is almost unmatched in field.

@FunCartel Thank you, I actually feel a bit overqualified to be honest. As for a talking snake, I do not but I have seen the Harry Potter movies so my qualifications should speak for themselves. Tell your friend that if they can become a horcrux for someone that has an affinity for talking to serpents, they should be able to start carrying on a conversation with the boa.
Another biological drive that men have is a need to be right. This is why the female black widow spider eats the male after his biological need to procreate is satisfied.

Ok ok, when I flashed my janitorial credentials, I was actually just a movie theatre usher and concessionist so my real specialty was getting you to spend 25 cents to upgrade your medium popcorn to a large.
