If you absolutely had to narrow it down to one and only one of your favorite songs of all time, what would it be? Personally mine is an easy choice…but what would you choose?
It’s so hard to choose, but for me it would be from Matt Pond. So many of his songs are just very sentimental to me and make me so happy. You said one, and only one, so I’ll respect that ☺️
I also got to meet him at a house show in San Luis Obispo, CA and that entire day is one the happiest memories I have.
Edit: Also, thank you for posting this. You seem like such a genuinely nice person that I am happy when I get to interact on your posts.
such a hard pick....but right now I'm totally addicted to this song (and Chris Squires bass line)
Happy 90th birthday to Yoko Ono!
In high school, I was super lucky to have had a very forward thinking English teacher, Jinx, who made a class for us called Rock Poetry. The faculty hated Jinx. When Bob Dylan won a Noble Prize, Jinx was totally vindicated in my view. He is now part of academia as is Yoko. I will never forget the shock and awe of putting the needle down on Why? by Yoko Ono and the Plastic Ono Band in that class. I was so lucky at 16 because these two women stepped up. My world view was shaped by Yoko.
@PeopleLikeUs oh wow haha, if that is truly your favorite song, hats off to you my friend. I have never heard it until just now, and it seems to be triggering something visceral in me that makes me deeply uncomfortable and I feel the need to be reaching for my anxiety medication as it unrelentingly pierces my eardrums.
@Charlie_Bear Your queasiness after hearing Yoko is not an uncommon symptom.
"This song is six words long."
I like it because the lyrics are easy to remember.
@JoyfulHeart
Leonard Cohen Hallelujah or If It Be Your Will. Or Croce’s Operator. Based upon my replays and how I never change songs when these pop up.
Ænima by tool!
Great song @Charlie_Bear ! Adding to my playlist

@SunsetSnuggles Fun song
The greatest song ever with the most recognizable sax intro of all time
@lonelytauros That was truly awful and hilarious. I'm still laughing.
@achetocuddle glad you enjoyed! You know i aim to please lol 😂
Not crazy about either song but the mashup version and Chris Cornell's wizardry gives me chills
