This specific thread is just a bigMEGA thread to connect people about possibilities. If you read through the whole thing there are lots of people doing things in different places at different times aphis is kind of a spring board type thread.
For example….. if you take a look there’s a meet and greet happening in NY in April. There are some cuddle parties happening regularly in Denver… @RadiantHugs does some stuff consistently in Austin.
This isn’t about just ONE get together. Im not sure if anything is happening currently in OH but I have heard some scuttlebutt about an August gathering in Columbus.

Thanks for your enthusiasm, @sillysassy ! I hope people do get together from this site in groups, from threads like this; there is something special about that, whether it's an official Cuddle Party or not, as long as everyone feels safe and comfortable.

Just to note.... NY isn't a cuddle party. Not to say that cuddling won't be happening here and there spontaneously but it is NOT a facilitated cuddle party. As the April date gets closer I would say look at MeetUp and other platforms to see if there are cuddle parties in the area or reach out to some of the people who are planning on attending the event and it might spark some interest out there. 😊😊😊

Happy dance Come to Colorado everyone... learn about elk, Northface, altitude sickness, extreme foodie culture, and Boulder the original "hipster" colony. Little known fact it was a commune back in the day. It's beautiful and has a hand made chocolatier shop called, "Peace, Love and Chocolate" worth a visit for that alone. Hope I sold it. @sillysassy

@MavReborn Welcome to the site!!! As far as upstate NYC..... My best advice is to look back at all the pages of the thread here. There are lots of people who want to plan things.... It’s not too bad to create something like a Meet & Greet (as opposed to a cuddle party). If you have a few people who are interested in helping you can reach out to any of us who have already been to one or helped with one. We will get you started. 😊

The only reason I can fly right now is because of the horrible tragedy that was a divorce. The flyer miles I had accumulated through years of NOT traveling were in my favor for traveling to get togethers now. I can relate though.... It is FUN FUN FUN for me to travel and I make some sacrifices in other places in order to do it!!
The cost of travel is absolutely one of my motivating reasons to schedule things out farther in advance if possible and to give people fair warning so they can decide which might be the more possible/probable options. It always lends to the increased ability to share a road trip or accommodations. The first hint I have of a Meet Up and I rush over here and throw it out there to the cuddle verse!
