If only prostitution were legal

Perhaps because I am new to the site and only had a handful of nothing but positive experiences that I’ve yet to be exposed to any of the negative side. Hopefully it stays that way for me.

  • @MrAdmirer Sadly, I think your viewpoint is far too optimistic. The mods get rid of as many as they can (and of course a ton of them are obvious), but there are many who have learned the art of subtlety, and, as @CuddleDuncan pointed out, they can likely read receptive clients in seconds, and only pander to them.

@theidea I'm so sorry that has happened to you. Consent goes both ways and assault is assault.

As a bit of anecdotal evidence to reinforce my frustration, I have personally met with 2 pros offering more with not just several positive reviews but literally over a hundred. The first one offered nude cuddling within the first 15 minutes, the second was much subtler and made several innuendos but once the session was over literally undressed right there in front of me. Again, these were pros who had seen at least a hundred people and somehow I doubt that I was the first one to be offered that sort of thing.

  • If there are pro cuddlers who keep it platonic on the site and then try to “upsale” once they arrive for a session, they won’t last long here.

lol this is definitely not true. The mods do a good job of getting the most blatant rule-breakers off the site, but a pro who is reasonably discreet about the extras she offers can stay around basically forever.

  • All good points here, especially about cuddlers who may offer more, on certain days, to certain clients. If they are discreet about it, no one will ever know.

I've had this discussion in the past concerning massage therapists and the possibility of "extras," and I think the point is similar here:

If it never happened, guys would stop asking / looking for it.

There are not Internet message boards (to my knowledge) asking about how to get a "happy ending" from your mechanic, or your plumber, or your butcher or your dentist. Why? Because it never happens at any of those places.

It does sometimes happen with massage therapists, and yes with cuddlers too. The frequency of "sometimes" can be debated -- maybe it's 1 out of every 100,000 sessions or maybe it's a lot more common. But with both massage therapists and cuddlers, that "sometimes" is important.

Again, if the answer was always, incontrovertibly "no," no one would ever ask the question. That's not the case here.

@Mare_Bear It's not just about sex workers using the site. Every non-CC member I have mentioned this site to assumed it was just a cover for sex work. The idea of platonic cuddling (let alone platonic cuddling as a business) just isn't mainstream - so people hear, "You pay someone $100 an hour and they hold you" and they assume it's just prostitution. I am sure there are a lot of clients that come to the site with that in mind.

I’d also like to clarify that I wasn’t suggesting that these mischievous pros are responsible for men who want more, there would certainly be those men regardless. I just think it’s exacerbated by the existence of those pros. Imagine a guy just joining the site expecting everything to be platonic and then his first meeting he gets a spicy offer. I’d understand if he started thinking that that’s the norm, in his experience it’s 100%.

@SunsetSnuggles yeah, I guess my viewpoint is really too focused on my personal perspective. I'm never going to look for or expect anything more than platonic cuddling, so it's obvious that I will never find it, even accidentally

  • @MrAdmirer I'm very glad that your experience has been positive and platonic thus far, and that your perspective and intent is to remain that way! You may be a minority, honestly.

I do still have to say that whether you look for it, it will almost inevitably find you; see @TheNotoriousHUG's post, that said:
"I have personally met with 2 pros offering more.
The first one offered nude cuddling within the first 15 minutes, the second was much subtler and made several innuendos but once the session was over literally undressed right there in front of me."

Whether you personally seek it, it will be offered. Which, as again, @TheNotoriousHUG pointed out in his most recent post, is sad for the naive guy who just wants to cuddle. Frustrating situation, to be sure.
