Respect, communication and boundaries.

I have always been amazed in my life at the lack of the use of these3 simple principles that people should abide by when interacting with any other human being in life. I have found that by using these as a basis of any meeting with anyone you are setting a really solid floor for success in that interaction in whatever it may be. In the world of cuddling these 3 I believe are SO key, and lead to amazing cuddles between pro and client.

    Agreed! Respect is a huge one just because everyone seems to have a different idea of what respect means based on their background… But I find that folks who emphasize respect tend to do well even if they have different opinions about it

    I always tell people I don't need everyone to like me, but they are going to respect me. Set them boundaries, baby. Then kindly let those you are around know you will enforce those boundaries if they try to disrespect them.

    @sillysassy So glad you do! I do think people, as a measure of self-protection from past hurt, tend to default mode to abrasive attitudes. And, I can get there, but it's only with just cause.

    I am very loving but take no shit🤷

    These are fine principles but IMO they’re just more of a baseline for interacting with other humans than something that’s going to “lead to amazing interactions.”

    Food for thought: "respect" does not mean or look the same for everyone, and if you truly wish to show someone respect you need to do it in their terms - not yours.

    Much like with love languages, if the giver & receiver aren't speaking the same "respect language", then the message gets lost in translation.

    @frankparker9 Glad you do! I know it's easy to slip into a very aggressive demeanor so balancing it out to a point of being assertive while kind can be a delicate tipping point.
