The shortest cuddle request I ever got was "Cuddle?" Naturally, I said No thank you. As the SNL character Linda Richman used to say "Discuss amongst yourselves." Lol, Or what is the shortest cuddle request you received?
Yo
Uh-uh, did not! LOL. Or did you?
@achetocuddle I responded with equally short answer. NO
Just the booking… no prior message. 🤷♀️ I usually just let those expire.
@pmvines Lol, that is almost unbelievable. @PlatinumIrisPNW I suspected that happens quite a bit.
It depends on ones perspective.. Given the luck I've had so far, I'll be inclined to consider any cuddle request, no matter how short
@GreatHornedOwl I was thinking about you when I posted this and expected a contribution, Lol. I believe you also, with the caveat? that you would have to feel safe with that person that had only written you one word
I msg someone on CC who came to a restaurant I was at. We were cuddling in under 1/2 hour. But even shorter was when a cuddle buddy of mine set up a cuddle with a friend of hers.
That is interesting and great @PeopleLikeUs!
I don't mind short messages. I just respond with a question leading them somewhere deeper. If they don't get it, well, we'll naturally just not click. If I can't connect on something like a meaningful level with someone, it ain't happenin'. But I'll always give someone a chance to remedy a disappointing first message.

Shortest request I've ever received is a booking proposal. No message at all. I denied bc stranger danger 🤭
@RaeLew Yep! I have no proof of this, but I know the shorter the message the more inherent danger there is. But that one word message was also just comical.
Different site, but... "sex yes?" I answered "no thanks" "Hugs?" "Also no." "Ok bye" 😂
Haha anyone reaching out to me looking to cuddle is met with extreme skepticism because my lack of confidence makes me immediately think scammer. Though it has happened and I have been pleasantly surprised that they were being genuine. That being said, I think the shortest opening message I have received is “hello handsome” and I assumed they were a scammer.
@Charlie_Bear hello handsome
@pmvines You make me blush ☺️
@Charlie_Bear I do recall your rosey cheeks, though that could just have been a combination of sun and alcohol
@pmvines Definitely a combination of those 😊
My usual response to any cryptically short message regarding cuddling or anything else is "And?"
r u available
That may be the worst 3 word request ever @biancalovecraft. Ugh!
“Hey” Another one I’ve gotten is “Wyd” Since I answer all messages ** I usually just say the same thing back and they write again with more. ** if it’s really inappropriate or something about it makes me mad, I ignore.
As an enthusiast it is often clear when they didn't even take the time to read my profile when I had one up.
Some of the more unusual/creepy ones
Call me ××× ××× ××××
*(and then immediately deleted the account.)
Hi (my real first name)
*(that one from my ex I divorced in 2014 who must prowl pages looking for me)
Sup
*(not much imagination there)
What are you doing today?
*(as in what? I'm not a pro. or is that just a bad conversation starter)
I used to for the most part only answer anyone if I had read/engaged with someone on the forums.
Exceptions where women who messaged me and welcomed me and told me not to get too overwhelmed at the volume a new profile gets. Some men took the time as well and told me I would probably have to sort through a lot of messages that went nowhere.
Now for the most part I keep my profile hidden or blank. Easier that way.
Shortest I've gotten is just a booking request. No words...
@SoftHairForDays D*mn, lol.
In the defense of some of the short typers, I think some might not write much because they have a lot of requests that go unanswered, so they don't want to send something extensive for nothing. Others are probably just aren't the wordy types. A woman said hello to me at a pizza takeout yesterday, but was short on words during the conversation. I just accepted it as her personality
Since the button says "Request to Book," there are probably people who think that is all they are supposed to do.
@Charlie_Bear No reason you should be lacking confidence 💕 I would gently pounce on you for cuddles if you lived near me (with consent of course lol).
@KYtransplant Got a few of those myself - hi messages only to have the user immediately delete their profile. Assuming they were probably the cheater types I previously blocked operating under different profiles.
I’m really enjoying this thread. I’m getting some really good ideas on how to message people! From what I’ve read, I’ve put together a pretty good one-liner, and it goes like this…” hey yo baby WYD cuddle me?”
@lonelytauros you must be doing something right. Good karma with almost no profile. What's your secret? Your location?
