Do you ever feel touch deprived? I just wish I wasnt so short.

  • Hi Jim, I often do. I’m about your height but I manage to b find cuddle buddies on occasion. I won’t deny the height has some advantage.

Good luck, try to focus on your strengths and passions as much s as you can.

Are you suggesting that being short makes you uncuddleable?
I think if you have some personality and good Hygiene as well as a kind and caring approach, height would be of little concern to potential cuddle partners.

  • Height is 100% irrelevant to me, and it deeply saddens me when short guys struggle with this, or tall guys boast about this. It's not something either can control. And it makes no difference in the attractiveness of a person...be that their personality, or their body.

  • Hi, tall woman here -

I'm so sorry that people have treated you so that you feel uncuddly as a shorter man :( I too struggled with the stupid societal height standards, being made to feel too big, like I was taking up too much space and too heavy and clumsy and uncuddly even when I was super thin.

Eff that noise (society, not you). Everyone deserves affection and touch - they are biological needs that do not go away after childhood. I'm taller and larger than the average male in the U.S., have cuddled plenty of men smaller than me, and I can promise you - it entirely comes down to attitude. If you feel and act "too small", then that is how you come off - insecure, overcompensating, small, defeated, etc. Same thing happens with "too tall" people - the wrong attitude can make them appear or feel to others as also insecure, trying to hide, ungainly, overcompensating, etc.

As a dancer, I've seen tiny people land like a herd of elephants and people much larger than me move like the wind without a sound. I've had people I thought I would surely crush lift and carry me with ease because they knew their own strength and knew how to balance my center of gravity over theirs. I too learned how to find balance, how to appreciate my body at any size, how to fit together like puzzle pieces and enjoy the moment because it is unique, not because it is perfect by societal standards. Does it never bother me? Heck no, I can't tune out the world's voices all the time. But I do my best to remind myself of the ones that actually matter.

Only we can change our own internal thoughts and feelings, though getting professional help from specialists can go a long way. If we are always expecting the world to tell us we are negatives, we will miss hearing the positives, or we will dismiss them or reinterpret them to fit our narrative.

Your height isn't a dirty word and it doesn't have to negatively impact your cuddle experience - if anything it should enhance it as it makes you uniquely you, @jimboslice5014 💖

    Yes.

I'm not as insecure as my height as I am my face lol. My upper jaw is underdeveloped due to radiation treatment I had when I was 3, and I've heard that physical attraction plays a big part in why people want to cuddle you. I'm assuming this is why I never get any responses from enthusiasts but I'm not sure. I just always hated how my face looks.

I'm getting surgery soon to fix it so I'm hoping this will allow me to like myself more lol

  • I do. Constantly. Touch is my top love language, but I've never really looked all that attractive (I actually really don't like my own face and cover it with a beard whenever possible). I stopped asking women to go out with me when I asked someone to go to a local carnival and their response was nothing but uncontrollable laughter as they walked away from me. I don't say this from a place of entitlement, but I wish we lived in a world where one could find Love/affection/cuddles without having to pay for it more often than not.

  • Sorry to hear about the negative experiences posted on this thread. I am 6’4” and have cuddled many men and women from short to tall. When lying down to cuddle height is little , if any factor. Positive vibes, authenticity and empathic people matter more to me, than actual height. Personally height does at all to me in terms of cuddling but also understand that views can vary from other peoples perspectives. I wish you all well.

  • I suspect that the look of your face has little to do with your lack of responses. For one thing, a very low response rate is an almost universal problem here. I estimate my response rate to be around 3% to 5%. Since you don't have a photo in your profile, unless you attach a photo to your initial message, the ladies never see your face before deciding if they want to respond.

I'm quite that my age (81) is at least partly responsible for my low response rate. You certainly don't have that problem. If your response rare isn't appreciably higher than mine, I would suggest that your low rate most likely is caused by the content of your initial message. Show us an example of what your opening message says, and I'm sure that several people here will tell you if that really is the problem, and if it as, how it might be improved.

My problem is that I could very well cuddle every day, but obviously that is too expensive. I need to find an enthusiast in my area. Lol

  • @MrAdmirer I'll poke you if I'm ever in your area! 😊
