Is it me or has cuddle comfort gone quiet lately? It feels like even the forum is quieter than usual. I think we need a pillow fight soon 🤔

I’ve been around for a year and a half. It does seem a little quieter than usual. There are a few people who used to post regularly that have deactivated or in a couple cases deleted their accounts. I can’t blame them, I deactivated for a whole month last year to do a digital detox and re-evaluate my priorities and life choices.
It is quieter. As john said, some former posters that posted regularly have deactivated or deleted. Sometimes they might get a timeout and don't feel like posting as much when they come back. That happened to me. I'm too busy to spend a lot of time thinking about the exact way to word stuff here so no one will get hurt or upset. Even being honest about this makes me a little uneasy cause I wonder if it bothers someone. I miss the way the forum used to be.

I’ve been checking for drama on the Forum, nothing much at all. Food fight, pillow fight? I even miss the complaining vs enlightened lectures! Am I going to have to watch tv?

@achetocuddle i think that’s a great explanation. But I really do like to read other’s point of view on cuddling. A little drama is interesting because we’re all very passionate about this. I’m always curious. Of course some things that are said surprise me to no end but I usually learn something and adds to my empathy.

Ha I was wondering the same thing. The most action I have been seeing lately is people making cuddle requests in the general channel and those threads needing to be moved to the requests channel.

@achetocuddle well I want to watch march madness basketball but I don’t pay for cable and CBS is being so greedy and not letting us peasants watch games without buying. So I’m back here. Lol I’m looking for suspense. As far as the fighting here between misogyny and those who want to educate, I’ll read the shocking posts as long as there’s no violence, no blood. @Charlie_Bear i can read it but can’t watch fighting.
@carrieanne I admire you for not having pay TV. CBS is greedy, along with a bunch of others. I would like a lively informative thread here, especially if it did not get flagged and could have a chance of being resolved among the posters. And I'm ok with shocking posts too; so much better than the ones where too many people hold back cause they are afraid of repercussions. If you were at my house you could watch march madness while I read a book or give you a hand massage or something (also eat fattening snacks like cashews, ha ha)

I agree, I really like seeing new posters here, welcome @Maka ! Hope we don’t drive you away, and I’m always interested in different pov’s. If we all agreed, it could get boring. I learn from the Forums. @achetocuddle someday I hope to meet you!! We think alike. Oh and I found the game I wanted because I have an antenna!

Quiet? From a mod perspective, no. It's been busy, posts and profiles get reported, and I'm grateful for the mod team and their diligence.
As for drama and differences of opinion? Bring it on. Talk. Discuss. But somehow learn that personal attacks are not the way to go about it. If only we had dialogue on ideas instead of personalizing and attacking the PERSON.
