Physical boundaries

This service seems to be aimed at meeting in people's homes. I'm finding that difficult due to alot of past trauma. Any suggestions
Cheers

  • @hugga I haven’t found that to be the case. Out of over 100 pros and enthusiasts maybe 2 cuddled at their place and that was by choice.

  • Are they telling you to host or asking?

If you’re not comfortable, going to peoples homes or having them go to you, you can just change your preference to public for the meeting place

  • Share some chats back and forth for while, and see how you feel, I’m still uncomfortable meeting strangers, but a couple weeks ago I had someone over for a cuddle (after chatting for a while), and she was super understanding about my issues, and made me feel really comfortable. It was like she took a huge weight off my chest.

This service is aimed at two people agreeing to meet in a specific place, be it public or at one of their homes. It's pretty easy to have this discussion and move forward or agree not to meet. Really, it's not that difficult.
It sounds like meeting in a home doesn't work for you so go the public route.

@Hugga there are four popular locations for individual cuddling. Your place; their place; in public (cinemas and parks are common); and at a hotel using their day rate.

Alternatively, you may wish to look into cuddle workshops/parties. They are not part of Cuddle Comfort and we don't talk about them much, but they are a significant part of the cuddling community.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. Good luck in finding somewhere!

  • Maybe this will help. It is a technological wonder for decision making.

@FunCartel do they have one like that for food would make it a lot easier for me to decide what I’m gonna eat every night!

  • There are lots of great resources on the forum about being an enthusiast, but above all the message is to go slow and meet in public first. Some recommend going to a movie together, or meeting at a cafe. Stay safe.

Cuddles in private (hotel, your place, their place) come with risk, which pros are willing to take, given all their knowledge on screening and resources available to them. If you're new I would not start there.

  • Zero worries about not being comfortable meeting in someone's house (yours or theirs). You can remove "Guest" from your profile and leave only "Public".

Coffee shops, parks, the beach, the zoo, tourist attractions, the movies, the mall; there are many safe, public options to meet. 😊 I only start in public places.

  • There's no reason to not like meeting in homes, that's not my thing either, just set to public then suggest some things to do the other cuddler might like
