What levels of jury duty have people been called for? I have had city twice, county three times and state once.
I was called once more than 25 years ago and actually served on misdemeanor case. I was on the 'ready list' I think one other time but when I called the day before I ws told I wasn't needed.
Since then, I've gotten a questionnaire or two but never been called and don't think I will be again. Reason being that one of the questions on the questionnaire was whether a police officer's testimony should be considered more credible than the testimony of someone who is not, I answered honestly, 'No' and explained my answer in some detail. I haven't gotten a note from the jury commission since and don't think I ever will.
