Sleep till noon then working from home through the evening and into the night like any other Wednesday. And if it's slow enough, continue binge watching Blindspot Lol
I refuse to call that holiday by name. I have renamed it Single AF Day
I have not celebrated Valentines Day in years. So, I dn't think of it much. i had heard it called Friendship Day as well.
Frankly I find the whole idea of Valentines Day pointless, if you're in a relationship you're doing something you should be doing all year round anyway and if you're single and you've got your eye on someone you're doing something you could be doing any other day of the year anyway.
So on that note, my plans are to treat it as a normal day except probably stay off Facebook to avoid the waves of soppy posts.
I will be working. Though I have been single for all 42 years of my life so valentines day is not a priority for me. I don't chase after anyone romantically so feb 14 is just the day after the 13th lol
Hoping to cuddle someone.
I have an 8 hour cuddle session then we are going to a nice dinner. This wonderful man has graciously offered his spare room to me for the night (I'm on my cuddle trip) so after dinner, back home for movie watching and couch cuddles!
I like doing surprise gifts here and there throughout the year so VDay kind of ruins the fun more than anything.
Still, I use VDay as "I love you" day and send little gifts and cards to family and a few friends.

I make homemade gifts for Valentine's day. Since my children were born I have made them a homemade gift. Now, I do that for my honey. This year is our first Valentine's day together so I bought a beautiful journal and wrote a love letter. I added all of our "firsts" and a few pics. Every year I will add a new love letter with a few pics from the year and more "firsts".
Oh gosh, this is the epitome of a Hallmark holiday. For ever loved one whose day is brightened by cards, candy, flowers and diamonds, dozen of others are disappointed by a lover who forgets, or who didn’t get the message of what was expected. Dozens of spouses and other partners will do the candy and flowers thing out of obligation or fear of retribution, not out of adoring love. And hundreds of lonely people, who are not only forgotten on Valentines Day, but have no idea even of who might remember them with a card or even text message will sit home in the dark. I truly think more people are hurt than those whose love life is enhanced. I’ll be wearing black, and staying out of restaurants and similar venues.

I'm going to take myself to swanky dinner after work. Buy myself a big V Day card beforehand and open it at the table. Enjoy a leisurely evening walk back to the hotel. Then enjoy Godiva-dipped strawberries with champagne in candlelight while I soak in a bubble bath of bubbly goodness.

I have zero plans and I really dislike flying chubby children with bows and arrows.
I like to spend valentines day with friends, family and adopted family, and my pets. Usually have a special family dinner, and this year will be going horseback riding
I spend the day allowing myself to not feel shamed and guilted for having no desire for a significant other

I'm aromantic so days like that aren't even holidays for me.
I work 9 to 6 but was hoping this year would be different and would have someone cuddling watching a movie nice dinner or something. Big sigh and hugging self..
