@achetocuddle i disagree with your assessment of the situation and I challenge you to a dual
Shall it be guns or knives?
It shall be sporks.
A duel of poops. Though as @Mman might attest, I do have an unfair advantage
I have also found that providing even the most well-intentioned, well-meaning, and thought out reason why is usually just going to spectacularly blow up in your face. Not when it comes to blocking someone, but just in general regarding everything people do where they are being criticized. Please excuse me. It's only been a month but I am already becoming super jaded
@Charlie_Bear That’s too bad because you are one of the purest good dudes on this site. Anyone taking umbrage with you is a very misguided individual.
@FunCartel Man...no matter how much proof of wrongdoing I have...they will go down swinging while denying absolutely everything, all while making me feel like I am a horrible person for having the audacity to call them out on their bs 😑
Edit: But at least I am getting to meet new people! However brief, and in only the worst of circumstances...
@Charlie_Bear Well let it be known you have supporters here. I mean even mods have to vent once and awhile.
@Chastheplumber This is the first forum post I’ve ever responded to but I thought I might share something I’ve learned over my 8 years of cuddling through this site. And that is, I prefer cuddling with women who want to cuddle with me. If someone blocks me, then they don’t want to cuddle with me. This allows me to not invest anymore time with them and gives me space to get to know other cuddlers.
When I was newer to the site I used to get curious when a cuddler would not reply to my quite articulate and charming messages. And I was very confused the first time I was blocked! But then I had a cuddler make a couple of comments that triggered negative memories of what I went through in my very painful divorce. They said absolutely nothing mean or rude. It just brought up a painful memory and I decided I didn’t want to cuddle with them. That was when I stopped trying to figure out the rationale of why someone may not want to cuddle with me.
I guess to summarize I would say, a no may have nothing (negative) to do with you. Whether it’s being blocked, ghosted or otherwise, a no more quickly helps you find the yes you are looking for.
Wishing you great cuddles.
@pmvines I choose a spork for our duel. That's a weapon I can handle
@ocadam Thanks for that....good advice, I appreciate that!
@ocadam Well said, sir! 👏🏽
I just came online now to actually block my first person on this site. When dealing with strangers on the internet, which is honestly dangerous enough, we don’t need a reason to block. No second chances. If they give me a bad vibe, I know it deep down and they’re gone.
I just had a guy who was upset I didn’t respond to him when he offered to get a hotel room across the border for us to meet in. Sorry I don’t just meet strangers I don’t know in hotel rooms, especially to travel outside the US for one. He went so far as to track my profile and see all the times I was online, asking why I didn’t message him back when I was clearly online all that time. He wanted to immediately take the conversation off the site to Snapchat. No thanks.
@cerealboxes84 , sounds like a stage 5 clinger!
@Matt462 l can just imagine the nightmare I’d be in if I was dumb enough to meet him lol. Major creeper vibes!
It just amazes me the people that treat this site like a dating site!
Hey, I am looking for a date. Is this the place to be?
No, the grocery store. Here is an example of what to look for:
Hmm, gonna need a good pick up lime.
@Mman add some salt and tequila to that...
@KaaGee Great idea. I'm on it. BTW I like your profile.
Is it ok to block people you never even talked to? just to keep your search clean of people you know you you're not going to see anyways? like cuddler who are way out of your price range? or wanting $200 an hour to be taken to a steak dinner? or asking you to write an essay on why you like platonic codding? or "if you don't answer all these 7 questions I will not respond"? or " I have a friend that knows where I'm at and if you do this or that I will call the police"? or those who still didn't get the memo that the pandemic is over? just curious. I just call it being efficient.
@Sooson you asking a question, or just whining about pros ?
@pmvines just asking a question.
@Sooson - block whomever you choose, but please don't kvetch or complain about Pro pricing, which is up to each individual Pro, not CC, and furthermore, said complaints are against the forum rules.
Pros also dictate their own vetting standards. Don't like them? Ok, move on, because the Pros have their standards and you have your druthers and it sounds like you two wouldn't be compatible in the first place. No harm, no foul.
If I wasn't buzzing on wine, I'd find the link for the ONE thread where folks can kvetch and complain about the price of cuddles or gas or eggs or whatever, but sorry, no can do at the moment.
