Hi, y'all! Looking to connect with some fellow Philadelphians, so my question is: What's your favorite bar in Philly? Feel free to explain why too :)

I'll start - Mine was The Barbary in Fishtown before they closed down!!! :/

    I’m not from Philly, but I do visit frequent for music events. I really like this bar in penns landing called khyber pass pub, it’s a small hole in the wall with amazing beer!

    I rarely drink and almost never frequent bars but the ones I’ve visited (once each) had that speakeasy vibe and were absolutely a delight: The Ranstead Room (below Stephen Starr’s El Rey restaurant) and the enigmatic Hop Sing Laundromat in Chinatown. I’d go back to either with a cuddle buddy.

    It's not a bar, but has great food and drinks....and bonus it's a ship from the 1900s and only of its type in the world restaurant style.
