  • Steve Harvey says yes, but Dr Phill disagrees. so, I asked ChatGPT and here it is:
"Yes, it is absolutely okay for a grown man to go see the Super Mario Brothers movie alone if he wants to. Enjoying a movie, regardless of one's age, is a personal choice and should not be limited by social expectations or gender stereotypes. As long as the person is not harming anyone else, they should feel free to do what makes them happy. It's important to prioritize your own interests and preferences, rather than worrying about what others may think."

  • If a grown woman can go see Magic Mike alone, then a man can go see Mario.

  • Omgosh 😂😂😂

@MrAdmirer I laughed so hard when I opened this thread…

I'm old enough to have been playing as Mario in the arcades when he was just a struggling plumber trying to save the save the girl at a construction site. Way before he became this big fancy star.

I TOTALLY RELATE TO THIS!! 😂😂😂

I grew up during the golden age of the arcades and home consoles after all.

Thank you Atari for introducing me to the 4squares of paddle and single square of ball that created hours of entertainment during…. “Breakout” maybe that was the name?
Or Galaga at the skating rink with all of my saved quarters lining the top so I could play instead of slow skate with the boys who had sweaty hands 😂😂😂

Oh my. So much nostalgia for REALZIES!!

If you are coming into the CO Meet & Greet in June then we shall have to make a plan to visit “Nickel-a-play” whilst you are in my fair city.

  • I took my son to see it (huge Nintendo fan). And I saw it again by myself. So yes, it is ok.

  • It was ok when I went, lol. Would have been much more fun with company though.

I think it's fine , but also you surely must realize you're polling a group of adults who play with stuffed animals and other toys

  • I am a massive Nintendo nerd and love all things Mario. I may have no love for Illumination’s other offerings but I need to see this movie.

  • This is why I won’t go to the roller rink on Wednesday nights. I feel creepy going by myself. Didn’t feel this way back when I was a derby skater and would go to the open skates to practice, but now that I’m not, I feel like I just don’t have a place there by myself.

  • Go for it. Don't let anyone tell you what you can or can't enjoy as an adult

  • Of course! It's as much for nostalgic adults who played the games in the 80s and 90s as for kids who play the newer games!
