How can cuddler remove negative review?

edited May 2023 in General

I booked a pro cuddler, she did not show up, then she lied on the cancellation reason. I did not give her any review after she did not show up, I did give her a 2 stars review after I saw her lie. But now my 2 stars review is being removed.

FYI she agreed to use this platform as communication method, the lie that she submitted is "Info was never exchanged". I am ok that she provided no update and no show, but I am not ok that she lied. She did not even give me any apology, she only said "Dangit, this is why I really wanted to exchange info. I’m held up at work and I really wanted to be in touch via text so we could keep in touch.". After I submitted my 2 stars review, then she apologize. Even she does not apologize at all, I am ok, I am only very not ok that she lied.

Username of pro removed. [Charlie_Bear]

    Removed screenshot of convo. That would be for a report; not to post publicly. [Charlie_Bear]

  • Oh no no no no no ! We don’t do that. Go to mod’s directly. Yikes 😳

  • @OhioMike
    Sorry do you mean report her account? I did report her account the same time when I submitted my review on her. I have no idea how the admin let her get away with it.

  • Please for the luv of all that’s good and gracious delete that before mods will. They will see it anyways but be the better person here. We don’t act like this here without major consequences

  • @Charlie_Bear
    Could you please explain why she is allowed to get away with it. I am posting the screenshot because that one seems like a big liar, if I do not post the whole proof, I do not know what kind of lies she may create if she see this forum post.

  • @OhioMike
    Ok, I am the bad guy for posting her username and the entire conversation, is that correct? But she is allowed to lie, no show, and not face any consequence. It seems very fair.

  • @NYCconservative ive been here long enough and you probably too to know this isn’t how you handle these types of challenges. Yeah so that makes you “the bad guy” if you want to call it that There’s ways to discuss this. This isn’t the way

    @NYCconservative
    Some people are not able to access the site at their workplace. Keeping the convo on-site is fine, and encouraged, but the reason provided isn’t a knock against you. We can see the conversation between the two of you and it’s clear what happened. Her reason doesn’t negatively affect your account at all. Publicly shaming her is not the way to go. You are not going to be notified about action we take against her, if any. But expecting her to be banned or something that severe is not really reasonable IMO.

  • @Charlie_Bear
    I am not asking her to be banned, I never even said I want her to be banned, why are you making things up? I never said the lie she told is something against me neither, why you made that up? II am not concerned whether her reason is going to affect my account neither. I am not trying to public shame her, I am merely posting what happened.

    All I am asking is as clear and simple as what I wrote, why is she allowed to have her negative review removed? She did not show up, and she lied, why she is allowed to have her 2 stars review removed?

    @NYCconservative You are entitled to file a complaint but it needs to be done through the proper channel not through creating a public thread. As ohiomike said go through the mods.

  • @Charlie_Bear
    Why is a cuddler allowed to be no show, and have the negative review removed, please explain.

  • @Mman
    Apparently a mod gave her a free pass. There is no more "proper channel". A simple factual review, the mod wiped it out.

  • @NYCconservative Just asking here, but, if the Pro apologized to you, isn't that good enough? Perhaps her "lie" was just a misunderstanding or a miscommunication? Again, I'm just guessing.

    Miscommunication/understanding is easy to happen, I think. I found out that sarcasm does not translate well in text messages.

  • @Charlie_Bear
    And regarding your "Some people are not able to access the site at their workplace." Then how is she able to text me? If she is able to text me, I assume she is able to access the internet. As I said, I am ok that she did not show up, the 2 stars review is for her lying behavior. Even herself said "I didn’t even know that the clients see those".

  • @TxTom
    I do not need that apology. I do not understand why someone is able to get away with being no show, and lying, and be able to get away with the consequence. Why did the mod delete a simple factual review?

    I do not understand what misunderstanding/miscommunication can it be. That was a no show, where is the miscommunication/misunderstanding? If you have an appointment with someone, say a doctor or a barber, you go there and that person is not there, where is the misunderstanding and miscommunication. I posted the full conversation, if you can see the full conversation you may have a much better understanding of the whole situation, but the admin removed the proof.

    @NYCconservative
    I am not making anything up. I didn’t say that you claimed either of those things. I’m letting you know that her reason doesn’t negatively affect your account, and that the issue you raise would not get her banned. (Edit: I came here from comments that were flagged, so I hadn't seen the title of your post.) You posting her username and entire chat convo is publicly shaming her.

    Karma can be removed at the mods discretion. Perhaps lay off being so hard on someone in your convos with them and simply report the cancellation reason as not being accurate (which you did do in your report - no issue there.)

    "But expecting her to be banned or something that severe is not really reasonable IMO." Your own words. So tell me who is "expecting" if you are not saying I am "expecting", please explain. Judging by the whole context, I naturally assume you are saying I have such and such intention, especially I did not even asked about whether I will be affected by her reason at all. I posted your username here when I @ you too, so under your own logic am I public shaming you? I said who did what, how is my intention automatically be defined? If I say John Doe punched me yesterday, am I public shaming John Doe?

    "Karma can be removed at the mods discretion. Perhaps lay off being so hard on someone in your convos with them and simply report the cancellation reason as not being accurate."
    I read it as, the mod for some reason and the reason cannot be disclosed, bad review can be removed?

  • @Charlie_Bear
    Let me try to write like you and see how you are going to interpret my message:
    "After putting words in other people's mouth, explicitly uses the 'expecting ..... is not really reasonable', and then deny of what happened, does not seem reasonable. And being an admin certainly have the power to cover up things as they want, and then talk like it is other people's fault for telling the mere fact."
    I did not say it is you, so if you assume I am talking about you, then I can't help. Your own logic. I did not say it is this platform neither FYI, so please don't try to assume I am talking about this platform.

  • @NYCconservative
    I mentioned in my previous comment, via an edit - so I understand you may not have seen it, but I came here following comments that were flagged. I did not see the title of your post. I see you were not expecting her to be banned. Mentioning me as someone participating in a discussion with you is not publicly shaming me. Posting a screenshot that contains a member's personal phone number is absolutely against the rules.

  • Posting screenshots of convos in general is not allowed, but what you did is a bannable offense.

    "I am not making anything up. I didn’t say that you claimed either of those things." So now you admit you say I "claimed" "those things", correct? Then the "I didn’t say that you claimed either of those things." is a lie. Do you still want to continue on that?

    Explain to me what is your definition of "public shaming". A tells C that B did something to A, is that public shaming, yes or no?

    Ok, it is my fault that I forgot to hide her phone number, I can definitely remove her phone number and post the whole conversation, or posting a conversation between two people is also "against the rules"? Now lets talk about "the rules", what is the rule of reviews, when will negative review be removed? Is posting who did what also against "the rules".

  • With the way you’re acting on here, it seems like it was probably a blessing for the pro not to have met with you. You need to calm down, follow the rules and stop acting immature. Mods are already on the case and have acted in an unbiased manner. Its telling that not one person has come to your side.

    @NYCconservative
    When I said, "Her reason doesn’t negatively affect your account at all", I am not making that up. It's true. It doesn't negatively affect your account. Information for you, for the future, if you encounter this again. I did not claim that you ever said otherwise. Why are you so hung up on this?

    When I said, "But expecting her to be banned or something that severe is not really reasonable IMO." is also not made up. That would not get her banned. I am not claiming that you expected her to be banned. But, in the event that you were, then now you know that is not bannable. Again, why are you hung up on this? Why are you even arguing this? It doesn't matter if you expected it or not. It's again simply informational.

    As for publicly shaming her, you posted your experience with someone without their knowledge in a public forum, referencing them by name, and posting a private conversation you had with them which also happened to include sensitive personal info. If you simply wanted to know how someone can get karma removed, you don't need to provide the backstory including their private conversation. If you feel like an error has been made, contact the mods. We can look in to it. Don't post private information about people or their private conversations with you.

  • What "way" are you talking about? Explain it. What else did I do, beside asking "why"? The review being removed, so I ask why. The admin put words in my mouth, I am not letting him get away with that neither. It was my fault that I forgot to hide her phone number, beside that, tell me one thing that I did wrong in the entire situation.

    How do you know the mods "acted in an unbiased manner"? A factual review being remove, simply telling how she be no show and she lied, and it is being removed. So explain to me how it is "unbias". Or is questioning "immature" in your book?

    I really didn't. I am sorry you read it that way. I could have written it better. I apologize if it came off different than intended. But your responses are way over the top defensive.

  • edited May 2023

    As for the karma being removed, the person apologized to you as they were held up at work and unable to access their messages to let you know. It sucks, but it happens. You showed zero empathy in your responses and were being downright mean to her all while calling her a liar when she did provide her phone number for her to reach you instead of relying on the site messaging. This karma could be considered being posted in retaliation.

    Also, for someone who refuses to provide their number for fear of personal information of yours being exposed, you sure don't seem to care about posting her number for everyone to see.
